I think you must’ve got DM on Sponsor side only and now In Process for Principal Applicant’s side
DM for Applicant side on 16th March, 2020
Applied on 30th August, 2019
And since the past one week on ECAS it shows In Process.

You know what? Maybe they had to put it back to In Process in order to gain permission from RMO to extend your medicals. Especially due to the timing of March peak time for Covid!

WTH - now I’m seriously confused! Why the heck would it go back to “IP”. These guys our going to end up killing us.
No one bothers to add SIGNATURE'S TIME LINE then suddenly a Q then we start to DIG OUT from posting when he/she applied which year and so on.

My medicals have expired. Hence it might have gone back to In Process.

APPLICATION RECIEVED: 30th Aug 2019

They used to extend MEDs for an Extra year but recently may be due to COVID they started re-medicals

Yes! Exactly what I’m trying to get at :)
I’m also Aug 2019 as well - Got DM Oct 29 but no PPR yet. In my gcms notes I got recently, they have extended my meds 6 months - until April 2021, I guess that’s a step in the right direction for PPR?

I wrote to my MP in Canada explaining my situation and requesting and update from IRCC. Thanks to my very helpful MP, I recently received a reply from him explaining in a little detailed manner about the status of my application.

As part of the response, the following details made it a bit confusing and would appreciate if someone can explain it further.
"
  • The medical examination results have expired on October 12, 2020 for the applicant.
    • The applicant will be informed by the responsible office if anything is required from their part.
  • The criminality verifications are currently valid.
  • The security verifications are currently valid.
