Yes, a long silence between Pre Arrival Letter and DM or PPR. You can expect anywhere between 4 weeks to 5 weeks probably between pre arrival and DM/PPR.
After, Passport submission, I think another 20 to 25 days before we receive stamped passport back along with COPR.
Estimate timeline from pre arrival to COPR - 8 weeks.

I received Pre arrival letter on my GC account for my spousal sponsorship. But, following that I received letter asking for medical exam again.
July 2019 Applicant. Sep 2019 Medical Passed. I understand that Medical is valid for 12 months.
Why are they asking for medical again. did anyone here receive medical exam letter after pre arrival ?

Because medical is expired they are asking for again. Do it and submit it . It’s all good , don’t worry .

Hi, when did you receive pre arrival? And when was your file transferred to NDVO? Today? I am a July applicant as well and my medical was done in September as well however I haven’t heard anything since file transfer in November 2019.
It was 2 days ago. File transferred in Nov2019. They are not asking medical to everyone I suppose as per this thread history.
Okay, well at least pre arrival is a good news. We basically have a same timeline. And no they’re not asking re-medical to everyone.
