This happened to us too and next day we received our pre-arrival letter, all the best
Looks like NDVO is mostly working on 2nd half of the week on spousal applications.
My guess would be wrong but I notice this in recent weeks.
How crazy is this .. we all waiting for that one single post that somebody will say"i got dm today'

I am a primary applicant Sep2019 case. Medical an biometrics done in Jan2020. Today I got a phone call from High commission of canada,Delhi office. The officer talked to me for 11-12minutes enquiry about many things related to me and my spouse. He was polite and precise with his questions.
Do you people have any idea what this was all about? Is it some kind of background check ? Thanks.

He asked me about his job,travel dates,my job etc Very general questions.It was more like a cross checking kind of questions
It was what we call an ‘interview’ to examine the genuineness of your relationship.
Did the officer say anything at the last about what’s next?
He said that my medical is going to expire on 5th Jan 2021 so they don't assure but will try to finalize things before that. That's it.
