Hay hi, i have quick question? if PA from India? so did you send your passport at NDVO or In mississauga after PPR ( i mean for passport stamp)?? because your filing process was done in mississauga.
Thank you

What I feel is NDVO will start issuing PPR's by end of October, early November the VAC's will be partially opened to facilitate the stamping of passports. Currently they might be finalizing all the applications those are at the later stages of the process, once they are done with enough applications they will send PPR's.. They need to push the Family Class applications as they got clear instructions from ministry of immigration. The statements are in public domain so they cant delay it for long. Little slow but things are moving.

It’s sent to local VFS center, then they send to nearest embassy, Chandigarh or New Delhi, or depending on the state. If PA is residing in Canada on tourist visa, I think you can request it to nearest vfs in Canada also. Otherwise, if PA resides in India, stamping is done in India only.

if I am wrong somewhere, someone please correct.

Thank you

Hi All, I checked our GC key this morning, first the current status was application updated and then when I signed out and checked again, current status of application again changed to submitted. Has anyone else gone through the same scenario. Thanks !!
I too got a ghost update. Just checked it...

It means they are working on Aug/Sept applications. Few others from Sept received pre arrival or ghost updates. PPRs come in after ECAS status is changed to DM.. keep a track of that as well. DM doesnt show anything in GCKey.. only ECAS is updated when final decision is made.

My file was processed at NDVO even though it was first moved to Mississauga. Its very normal procedure when files are moved to NDVO from Miss for further review. Since I was residing in Australia at that time, I submitted my passport at Melbourne VAC. If the PA is in India passports are stamped at either NDVO or Chandigarh Consulate. If the PA is in Canada, then they have to send passport to Ottawa for stamping

The whole scenerio has changed post covid. No dm or ppr being given even though people got Prearrival and ghost updates. They seems to be waiting for ndvo to open.

If sep and aug getting pa ..jun and july should be getting ppr soon ? May be
Most of June was done before Covid... I was in the same batch. May-June were handled somewhat simultaneously.. and I also read a couple of posts from July PPRs that time.
