When I posted here that CoPR doesn’t mean you are PR of Canada, people didn’t took me right. They will not even now because everyone wants be with their loved ones as soon as possible but is it really worth the trouble and with the risk of a pandemic? Lives are more important than reaching Canada. Because if you will be alive you can come here and this thing will end up very soon. The whole world is trying to control this. Just be patient and stop collecting wrong info and mis lead info from here and there. I know all you wants to listen is that you can board a flight and everything is normal but it’s not. Have some value for your own live. Just take of yourself, everyone is gonna be here sooner or later.

Go to the canada.ca and read the covid-19 guidelines. Canada cancels all in-person landing appointment for the permanent residence. Just written over there on the very first page. No need to look around here and there.

Agreed to all your points. If that's the case then why Canadian Border Services have confirmed that we can travel? Any idea?

Don’t know
All I can say is be safe.

I'll again suggest. do not unnecessarily panic. give the government a chance to work it out. they have many more issues to think than the landing. give it a week or two for them to give clear instructions.

Landing appointments are different. For that you don’t need to cross the border. You have to go to service CANADA and they will do paper work. Please don’t confuse people with this.

Ok so how’s entering the Canada from India is different?
If you are a PR than you should have know that your landing is as per record shown on ECSA ( online tool).
Before doing the landing it only show decision made on PA side and after you land in the Canada it will show your landing destination even with the terminal and airport where you land.
Clear your facts.

P.S:- everything is done by service Canada. From processing to giving you PR card. Even the site is service.ca

I think best thing is to call IRCC first thing tomorrow and will update you guys. I will probably try to record my call.

Because if you read the link about COPR they are saying you can extend it but it doesn’t say you are not allowed to travel
