immediate family of citizen and PR means spouse, sibling and parents (if i am not wrong) so can we travel or not? Big confusion!!!!

I am bit confused too. I can’t tell you anything because it may cost you money as well as trouble. You need to keep checking ircc website for update. I will ask here from some people and let you know.

I did not. My original was in Hindi. So I got it translated and notarized.

Not sure why it’s confusing for a lot of people but spouse and children are considered most immediate family. So we are fine. Now for the guidelines, on how to travel and what documents are required, wait for CIC or CBSA to post something on their website.

I will ask everyone not to panic or worry to much and buy tickets while they are cheap

please understand that it is new for not just the Canadian government but also the entire world. if I would be in this situation, I would certainly wait for at least 1 week for the ircc to get prepared and have some genuine answers to my questions. I certainly do not want to call the ircc, get a template answer "please call back after 1-2 weeks" and get more frustrated after hearing this. we all know spouses and children are family and if we did get CoPR, it is a confirmation that our pr is approved. but we aren't a pr yet until we get the SIN and other stuff ( which happens during the landing procedure ). so I'd suggest people to just be patient only for 1 or maxxx 2 weeks and then try ircc. till then, increase your immunity and give more time back home with your in laws, your own family because you will miss them no matter what after moving to Canada.

agree! it will take a bit of time to iron things out with IRCC and rules governing this. There hasn't been an update on IRCC since march 15. Let's be patient and wait. I would rather be prepared then assume which could lead to a lot of issues later on.
