Which month applicant are you?I had the same line...I think it is for sponsor approval or biometric as I never had any additional documents request.
That;s right, they didn't say anything about spouses, PR spouses will be allowed entry. It's their right. Boarder is closed to Visitors, federal workers, students and so forth. not Spouses. if this was the case, that would be a legal rights issue. Also, they might limit spouses from countries that have high exposure to the virus, such as italy, iran and china. They also said exceptions are there , like those people are allowed who have family members or immediate family members in canada @bassi4
That's only for visitor's. We have PR, so we can travel.New update
People are allowed to travel until March 18. Please check with the airline or authority before travel. Whoever got there passport, please travel before 18th march. You still have time to come.
yes, immediate family and relatives "such as Canadian citizens’ immediate family, airline workers, travelers with a layover in Canada, and diplomats " will be allowed entry. however, if they show symptoms, they will be denied. even if they are Canadian citizens. please self isolate for 14 days after landing even if you are not showing symptoms. the spread of this virus needs to decrease!Guys anyone planning to travel this week or next week? Are they allowing Spousal sponsorship to land?
But I(Sponsor) am not a canadian citizen and neither is my wife.. I am a PR holder here. Does it apply for PR holder's wife tooyes, immediate family and relatives "such as Canadian citizens’ immediate family, airline workers, travelers with a layover in Canada, and diplomats " will be allowed entry. however, if they show symptoms, they will be denied. even if they are Canadian citizens. please self isolate for 14 days after landing even if you are not showing symptoms. the spread of this virus needs to decrease!
I believe so, but you might want to check with someone from immigration office before. I wouldn't think it would be different for PR and sponsoring PR spouses as it's their immediate family. This is so new, and there are lots of loop holes to this. It is changing by the hour. Best would be to keep checking for updates and call IRRC for clarification. But I(Sponsor) am not a canadian citizen and neither is my wife.. I am a PR holder here. Does it apply for PR holder's wife too
