No one from June got the Passport request. I think they are holding it until march.

How do you know that they're holing until March?

I received pre-arrival just 6 days back … I was thinking now BGC is going to take the longest because I know people have waited for upto 3 months after pre-arrival … I was really scared about it … I know BCG takes the longest and when I approached MP in late December it wasn't even started

But now I am assuming that since my husband holds a valid USA visa, it might have had some impact on Background security check ... as USA and Canada share their database … and he already went through security check when USA visa was approved … so that could have helped in here too... and also, he is residing in Australia for past 10 yrs which also includes security check from various agencies ..... I am sure these things would have definitely played some role and NDVO didn't have to re-conduct all the BCG... surely they did their part but not everything from start like a person who has never undergone security verification.
