Thanks for the info.Line 2 is "WE STARTED PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION ON --------"
This is added to PR applicant's side after file transfer
Was your ECAS status changed to "APPLICATION RECEIVED" after file transfer and then again changed back to "IN PROCESS" after few days
Was your file first sent to Mississauga before second transfer to NDVO?
I am also MAY applicant and in similar situation as you, but my file was first at Mississauga

How long does NDVO take to return passport after sending in?
Hello there, I'm in the same timeline as you. File transferred to NDVO Dec 23 and status changed to 'Application Received'. what is the next step? bio and medical is all complete. I read something about interviews via phone, what number does the call come from? anyone please share. thanksHi Everyone,
I am sponsoring my wife under Outland Category.
My Application was received at CPC Sydney on 3rd Oct 2019.
AOR1 - 6th Nov 2019 , SA , biometric done ,Medical done, passed and updated in Gckey account.
File transferred to NDVO on 2nd Dec 2019. ECAS status changed to App. Received from In Process soon after and it remains the same since then.
Anyone else waiting for a confirmation of Application Received from NDVO and also the ECAS status of "starting processing" for over a month now ?
I did read through the last few pages of this thread to get the latest and it seems some October transfers to NDVO have seen movement. Anyone from Nov or Dec transfers to NDVO received "in process" status on ECAS after file transfer to NDVO ?
Thanks!
I agree with you! We need to collectivley push back to the Liberal Government to shorten this process. 12 months and longer is ridiculous and does put a strain on the relationship. It only makes sense to issue visa's or work permits while we are waiting for the PR. It only makes sense that if they issue to everyone else why the hell my spouse cant be here with me and work or at least be with me while we wait. We need to get together and voice it to the government and media.I remember many of my relatives who sponsored their spouses in previous years, (prior to 2017 I guess) their files were cleared within 5-6 months maximum at NDVO. No files were sent to Mississauga back then.
At that time I didn't hear from anyone taking more than 5 months to receive PPR; and there was no such thing as Pre-Arrival letter then.
This was true for all the genuine cases with positive outcomes.
No idea why is NDVO complicating things now-a-days. Its really frustrating coz there is not point of making spouses wait for a year. This affects
the relationships in a big way. Why can't they start something like conditional Visitor Visa same like UK or many other European countries? So
people don't have to go through this unnecessary brutal separation. What's wrong in that?
I know many visitors who are staying illegally in Canada. They came to visit and never left.
So if a spouse enters Canada on visitor visa while the PR application is in process, what's wrong in that?
This wait is so painful .. I don't even know how to react anymore
