My wife got a phone interview call from new delhi embassy. They were asking about me and my job to my wife. I am little scared.

Anyone got same experience, please share it.

Nothing to worry about … its normal .. now-a-days NDVO conduct a short phone interview if they have little doubt. This is to avoid the
in-person interview, which is good according to me.
Two of my cousins also got call for the same and I have also read here some applicants received phone calls, where they asked couple of
questions about the relationship. Its very normal and way better than in-person interview

They specifically asked for my husband's phone number lately because the lawyer provided only his contact info on the application.
We have not received any phone call yet, but just the way they asked for number, I am also expecting a call. Lets see

Thing i m worried about is when they ask her where does he work.. she didn't knew the company tht i work for sooo instead she told them he works she dont kno the company name..
so my concern is does it have to be company name tht i work or as long as i work should be fine ?

My husband is from India and I starting the PR application for my husband Feb16 2018. I went to India for PR interview on November 3rd 2018. On nov,6th 2018 we had received the Pre Arrival services email and we were very excited t come back to Canada together. I waited 3 months and they have not asked for Passport yet so I came back to Canada without him and am still waiting for PPR. How long does it usually take and how long should I wait before sending in a inquiry?

If is 2018 that means almost 2 years waiting that is too long waiting.my file also ricivede in Dec 7 2018 I m still waiting for ppr.

yeah they ask that sort of questions just to verify if the applicant and sponsor share details of their life.
work/salary/what he drive etc etc
Even if she didn't know your company name, she should have known a bit about the job that you. All is this part of casual talks that we have
with our partners, when we share our day to day life. that's what they looking for
But as long as she answered all other questions correctly, you guys should be okay
