Ours is April 25 application
File transferred to ndvo on oct 10
Got pre arrival letter on NOV 14 to sponsor living in Canada
Got REMAINDER for pre arrival letter on DEC 11 to Primary applicant mail id.
No further update on application .

Is that the reason why they called you for interview?
I know they have called few applicants and conducted phone interview for these kind of issues.

I, the Sponsor got pre-arrival services letter in my CIC login on Nov 13th and my spouse got pre-arrival services email on Dec 11th. Anybody else with something similar?

We are thinking of applying for Visit Visa as spouse sponsorship applicatin is taking time.

Question: If Visit Visa gets rejected, do we need to update the Spouse Sponsorship application about this rejection? Will it impact the main Spouse Sponsorship application in any manner?

You can apply for TRV but make sure that you show strong ties to your home country as in Job, Property papers if any etc etc. You dont have to update you current spouse application in case if your have a rejection. All the best.

Applied on Dec 4 2018 . IT took 2 months to get PPR after NDVO file transfer

IRCC.COMMDoNotReply-NePasRepondreCOMM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca to my personal mail id , nothing much they mentioned just they added the word REMAINDER remaining everything is same .
