The person you quoted had her file stuck for a year so I thought you were in the same timeline.
Your app has moved pretty quick, med and bio done in two months and the file transferred to NDVO, which is known to be slow so expect 5 months atleast since yours moved straight from Sydney.

Biometric Given - June 19
Medical Request - June 18

No update since then. Called IRCC last month’s day agent told me that they are currently assessing Applicants file in Sydney.
Called them again last week and finally heard that they are preparing to send my file to NDVO.
I’m not sure how long it gonna take now, but what I can see it’s taking around 3 to 4 months in NDVO. I hope something was done in Sydney and my file was not sitting somewhere. Fingers crossed. Anyone else in the same boat?

I came to canada in sep 2013 .also my husband tried for student visa thrice and he had rejections so we waited again until i get my pr.. i didn't expect interview but his rejections were always concerning. So now all i am waiting is for 30th October. Please send positive vibes to us
