All who got FILE MOVED/transferred to NDVO 2019 please join

No . We were hoping to get decision made in March / April based on current trend.

Not sure if it is coz NDVO receives high volume of applications and they are sending some to other offices for processing .

another new development..yeah...it seems like it they transferred back due to workload. no sure though..might be a blessing in disguise for u..fingers crossed.

When I open the tool:
1st Line is for application received in Sydney
2nd Line is for Biometric letter
3rd line for Medical instruction letter
4th Line for medical received
There is no 2nd line for application received or being processed at NDVO. Movement to NDVO happened after medical so believe these updates should happen in chronological order. Slightly confused

Except the line 2 .. everything else is in chronological order.
Line 2 is added later .. after 2-3 weeks of transfer. It says " we started processing ..."

Our first AOR was received on Sept 19,2019 and our file was also moved to NDVO on Jan 13,2020 - we are also waiting and our status is also in process. Please update if you here something from them and we will do the same. All the best !!

Do you see Line 2 added lately in ECAS saying "we started processing..."

5. We sent PA a letter on August 30, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. -- file transfer to Delhi

We didn't receive any updates after that.

Today I ( sponsor living in Canada) received an email from CPC Sydney that the application for permanent residence of my spouse has been forwarded to CPC Mississauga.


I just called the call center. They said file is still in NDVO . If it was sent to Mississauga they should be able to see it.

According to the agent this is how the file was moved Sydney- Ottawa- Mississauga - New Delhi. He said that this could be the email which was supposed to be sent when the file was first transferred to Mississauga. Must be a system glitch.
Anyways file is still is NDVO . Hope to get some updates in March / April.

Guys yesterday i had interveiw in ndvo the interviewer took my pics and call logs whatsapp and said i will inform you about the outcome of interview and today morning i got ghost update nothing changed in ecas but in gckey the line changed which was befor intervew date it was like ''You need to attend interveiw" now it changed to "You completed your interview" is it a good sign or bad ? i am feeling nervous now

From what I have read in this forum, ghost update is good sign.

I am May applicant. Last update was on 18 November (prearrival letter). I ordered gcms notes which says your application has been approved(eligibility, criminality completed) but no passport request yet.

But arent they supposed to tell on spot at the end of interview if you are approved or refused ? I am really confused now

Not necessarily always .. sometimes they tell you on the spot ... i thinks its visa officers choice. My cousin received PPR 2 months after interview ... visa officer didn't tell her about the result right then

There are lots of posts about ghost update ... i have read that its a good sign .. everyone got positive outcome after a ghost update ... usually next day .. so expect something in a day or two
