Same here... I don't knw y our status not going to chng if our progress bar is changing...
Application received means visa office has accepted the application and entered into the system... but the application review has not been started... once they begin next steps such as eligibility assessment or security checks, it will change back to in process again. Same thing happened to many of us including myself. There is no need to panic about it. It will change back to in process only when they pick up your file to start working on it... till then its just sitting in the pile. Very normal

Finally we see some light at the end of the tunnel.

As of July 1, 2020, we will resume processing all online applications for visitor visas, transit visas and electronic travel authorizations (eTAs). Please be advised that due to current travel restrictions, most people will not be able to travel to Canada at this time.

We continue to process study permit and work permit applications submitted online as well as permanent residence applications. Paper applications for visitor visas, study and work permits will not be processed until further notice.

From IRCC twitter page.

It simply means, they are trying best to move to online process rather than paper based.

They are not accepting paper based applications only for temporary residence. Also, if they need an interview, they will call for one. May be not in person, but through a voice or video call.

even before covid, telephonic interviews were a common thing
