Thank you dear for your update! It's si nice of you. Our us 2nd marriage and waiting for PPR or Interview after all Medical,Bio done we are not sure what will come next. Would you be kind enough to tell me did your husband has interview or no, if yes then what questions and preparation he has done? Enjoy your best time with your love one

Hi there, no we didn't have an interview. They had requested additional documents back in Nov which is what took up a lot of the time in processing our application. I did request CAIPS notes and noticed there weren't any red flags raised by the officer. So we were sure Visa would be next. I had to raise a web form because i hadn't heard an update and it was MArch. As soon as i did, they requested my passport and visa was issued on March 20. I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or it would've been issued regardless.
Due to Lockdown in india, i couldn't travel. But I'm where i should be.

Just wanted to update you. My Visa was issued on March 20, 2020 (I am a spouse of a Canadian Citizen). I took one of the evacuation flights on June 14 and I was allowed to enter Canada.

But did they asked you any questions on airport over there as we have to prove them that we fall in immediate family one right so. So even I can prepare myself for that.

No just carry copy of your marriage certificate, copy of your spouse's passport, your passport, COPR and u should be oK.

Dont be scared. just carry copy of your marriage certificate, copy of your spouse's passport, your passport, COPR and u should be oK.

The evacuation flight is straight to Toronto. Ìm not sure of any other flights route.
