Will the Visa suspensions by India affect Canada Visas as well? Any idea?

Applied in Dec 2019. Moved to NDVO on 10th Feb. ECAS status shows application received.
No news after that.

the visa suspension is only for those who arrive in India from visa free countries.

Congratulations..prior appointment is not needed..you can just walk in with the passport request letter during their working hours.

I got dispatch mail. submitted on 2 march

Got passport dispatch notification. I guess all kinds of waiting on ndvo are finally over for me ... unless now VFS also has plans to torture applicants by making them wait.
Submitted passport on Feb 14, Received by ndvo Feb 18. Processed and dispatched March 12th.
