Few of us, including myself, got DM directly without any other update before the status change ... it seems like you will also get same way
Keep checking ECAS .. also, your sponsor can approach local MP to get an update on your file, its quick and easy ... they will tell you what's going on ... its not necessary if you can wait little more

Don't lose hope yet ... a difference of 20-25 days from others is not a biggie ... few guys from June end dates got DMs even before the MAY batch was started ... so things can fall here n there sometimes .. I know waiting like this is really unbearable

can i contact cic via webform to update my new passport details? Or my sponsor need to send the details via webform. Has anyone contacted cic themselves ? Or sponsor has contacted on your behalf?

Just update new info. by web form and anyone of you can update as long as mention all the details.

Yea webform will be fine with correct file number and client ID.

Sponsor can also and should do that on your behalf but only if he or she is your representative on the file.

I don't think so...for Express Entry / FSW, you need to order GCMS notes / raise Webform / call CIC agent to get the exact status about following:

1. Eligibility
2. Criminality
3. Security
4. Visa Office processing your file
