All visa applicant at Singapore visa office.......Processing Updates!

I applied for FSW in 2005. Finally they sent request for updated documents to start the process in mid 2009. After i sent them the documents they sent me a letter stating no interview required and asking to submit medical and right of permanent residency fees. I did so in late October as per their guideline. Its been more than 2.5 months I still didn't hear from there office. When I wrote them they replied back that My file is pending decision from Canada. Please await further to hear from this office. The file status shows just as before In Progress.

Any idea...why the decision can be pending in Canada. Doesn't giving out medical and asking for right of residency fees mean they have gathered enough information to make a decision. Is the final decision made in Canada or Singapore? Can anyone suggest?

Dears,

Is there anybody... after sending requested documents to CIC received letter from Singapore that " you have met the assessment pass mark of 67 points and your medical will be sent sometime in late 2010 and in 2011" as I have rcvd the same letter from CIC on 01/02/2010 (letter date 21/01/2010).
My time line as follows.

Visa office : Singapore
Appplied : 05/04/06
AOR dt : 20/04/06
Doc rqst : 06/11/09
Doc sent : 20/12/09
Abv letter rcvd : 01/02/2010.
Nationality : Bangladesh.

Can not understand what is going on, where as some applicants of June,2006 already got Medical/RPRF/PPR at the time of documents request letter and already deposited PP to CHC Dhaka.

Kindly comment.

my past experience says that CHC Dhaka is very fast and very modest while dealing with the documents BD people provide to them. They are really reliable.

Someone said flights. EK (Emirates) has a direct flight from Dubai to Toronto. My relatives are so happy with this connection of EK. I'd also recommend Singapore airlines and Qatar Airways.
I'd also recommend if you wanna avert the hassle of unnecessary checking in EU , use the Pacific Route. Singapore and other Far eastern Airways have links to Vancouver and other cities of Canada over the pacific.

Hello everyone,

I sent the passports to CHC-Singapore on 7th Jan, and e-cas showed decision made from 25th Jan, 2010. Still awaiting for the letter to pick up the pps. And last minute tension getting heavier and heavier.

If anyone into the same boat with same timeline pls put ur comments.
