yeah, health professionals have been in demand since ages for Canada - nevertheless in year 2008 MI, CIC excluded NOC 3131 but right after 2008, they reinserted 3131 into eligible occupations. Ever since then 3131 was never excluded. this gives me confidence that 3131 will be there in NOC list this time as well.

Now coming to the earlier part, apparently it seems till difficult to have ECA within a month, but I've visited ICAS and other assessing agencies, all are writing that "if they would be designated for ECA, there would be entirely different documents requirements / fee structure and time-lines, than what they do have right now for routine assessment". May be, the designated agencies would to introduce some on-line sort of system where you would pay the fee electronically, have your documents scanned and emailed to them and they assess your credentials..............just a thought.....lets see what comes out from egg ... he or she chick...

Or CIC may say that you send application to CIO but processing would be started right after your ECA report by designated agencies....if they do so, it can open a channel to make our safe placement before the cap would reach....................only my thought, not an authentic word..

Per CIC web update of Mar 01, 2013, credentials assessment agencies would be announced in April. Till April, nobody on earth (except CIC and JK) can tell prospective ECA agencies. May be WES, ICAS or some other one.......wait till Apr...we all are in same boat buddy..

The process of credential assessment looks very complicated.
1. First get photostat of all the marklists. All semesters.
2. THe get seal and sign of the university
3. Get it in a sealed envelope.
4. Forward to assessment agency with fees.
5. They will then assess it

yup yup....this is general process and almost common to all agencies.... so be ready for that...:-)

I just feel that in week starting from tomorrow, CIC would up-date the following:
1- designated ECA agencies.
2-List of eligible occupations
Rest, we all know........so wait....

The news is out. CIC issued the press release. Occupation and panel has been finalized. I can't see the pharmacy occupation in the list?

Go for Fedex, last week I sent documents of my wife using Fedex - exactly by evening of 3rd day her documents reached to WES. Or alternatively you can use UPS.
For Fedex, you need to pay 3500 (approx), for UPS you need to pay 4500.
