For all the copies of documents requested, do the copies need to be attested and notarized?

Thank you!

Dear members
I want to apply for NOC 2121(hoping it will stay) again this time after being rejected last time due to CAP. I have one important query about payment mode. In India according to new rules all the DD are valid only for 3 months whereas CIC wants the validity for 6 months. I don't have credit card !!! Can anyone please suggest me what to do. Members from India .... Kindly let me know how they are handling this issue.

Hi all

I am planning to apply for NOC 1122. As i was gathering all the docs something came in my notice that.

Where do we mention the number of points that we have avail or eligible to apply as a skilled worker

Advice please whether to send the documents by 1st july or before such a way it reaches max on 3rd july

Regards

ST

Noc 1122 fills out very quickly. So, my advice to you is to send the application to the office on july 3rd. The new quota for 10,000 application renews on july 1st which is sunday and july 2nd is canada day. both of these days are gov holidays therefore offices must be closed. July 3rd is the better option.

any news on MI5 or when will it be released ?????????//

Hi there,

On the website it mentions "If new Ministerial Instructions are not issued before July 1, 2012, the current cap of 10,000 new applications will re-set on that date." I would suggest you to send the application on july 3rd to be on the safe side. If they have any new instructions they would post it on the website before 28th june. My friend its a long weekend...30th to 2nd is there official holiday. Just a friendly advice.

Where do we mention in the application the number of points that we have acquired......

Another one of my million questions!

For those who are applying and will not include their dependents yet, what do you usually say as reason why dependent is not accompanying you?

I think this is one of the disadvantage of not having a consultant :'(.

Thanks!

Just say the truth. i would rather say that they are living in their home country. or studying/working. Whatever you say, you need to remember that.

another interesting situation arises

in the form ime 0008_e question 9, they are asking whether u or your spouse has some1 living in canada ...

now in my situation both me and my wife have blood relatives living there, but i am not in that close a relationship then my spouse is with her relative

so my question is that should i persue my relative and get their information or will my wifes relatives info will do the same thing for my application

kindly reply

If I were you, i would definitely take advantage of this fact. Whether they are your or your wife's relatives, including them would be a plus point as you will awarded some points. Just an advice.

in the additional family information form, we have to give info of ourself, spouse, mother and father. But my mom is no longer in this world, so should i include her info and then mention (deceased/late) or should i not mention her at all ???

kindly reply

no matter what, whether that person is living or dead. you have to mention your immediate family members such as sister, brother, father, mother. because that's your first family.

hello there

i am new here and i spent the past 3 hrs reading the whole thread very carefully and am very pleased by the input by all the members.

I am also applying for immigration is fsw category 1122 and seeing by how many ppl applying only here i doubt the cap wont b filled in the first day or 2.

neways ill go for sending my courier on the 27th. and in my regard i dont think so there will b much changes in the 1122 category... lets hope it doesnt

kindly someone help me out with the following question

1- my mom is not in the world with me... i have a stepmom who is also my actual moms sister ... so where should i declare it in the background declaration form??

2- regarding the proof of fund ..... is it 100% compulsory to send the bank statement along with the initial initial application???

3- i was reading abt credentials assessments from ICAS
i have done my O levels from GCE and den my A levels that too from GCE and then my computer engineering and den my MBA....
so my question is do i need my credentials assessed and if i do can i send it later wen my application is accepted or do i have to send it 100% with my initial application ..... cuz i am short on time and the 1st of july is approaching.

4- there are many forms on the site which may not apply to me eg the use of a representative form. so shud i omit this form at all or shud i take out a empty print out and send it wiz my application?

i am hoping for multiple inputs

I am just a newcomer on this forum but would like to offer you some insights of what I found and what I would do in your situation. Correct me if I am wrong.

1- my mom is not in the world with me... i have a stepmom who is also my actual moms sister ... so where should i declare it in the background declaration form??
A. I think declaring your step mom in the background declaration form is a good idea if your planning to sponsor her later on. Just write a note or a short narration explaining your relationship with her.

2- regarding the proof of fund ..... is it 100% compulsory to send the bank statement along with the initial initial application???
A. I am sending the bank letter stating the funds available with me along with the bank statement. As it provides the official proof. If you have fixed deposits or any other financial asset which can be transformed into cash please do send it.

A. Tough to answer this question. I have done my credentials assessments through world educational services 4 years ago when I planned to apply for Mba in USA. I hope that still suffice these immigration officers. I would just say that if its in english then just go ahead and send it and in the meanwhile do your assessments from ICAS. Right now, the most important point is sending your application.

4- there are many forms on the site which may not apply to me eg the use of a representative form. so shud i omit this form at all or shud i take out a empty print out and send it wiz my application?
A. I am not sending unneccessary forms just to increase the weight of my application. If its not needed, I am just omitting it. just like additional dependants form and representative form. I would rather send important document which supports my application. I think they are smart enough to acknowlege that if the applicant has not send the document then he/she has nothing to show.

Hope this satisfy you..If you think my answers are wrong just reply me back. It would be good for sharing more insights on these issues. Good luck.
