I want to apply on July...I have completed:
1 > Secondary School (Metric / 10th Class / S.S.C.) = 10 Years
2 > Higher Secondary School (F.A / 12th Class)= 2 Years
3 > Bachelor of Zoology (3 years B.Sc Course) = 3 Years (but it took 4 years for session delay)
4 > Masters of Zoology (1 year M.Sc Course) = 1 Year (but it took 2 years for session delay)
Mode of study - all- FULL TIME.

So it was taken full 16 years to complete my study.
somebody told me my score is 20...others told me it is 22..if it is 20 my total point is 65 so can't apply..if it is 22..i can apply
Can any senior help me figure it out how am likely going to score under the Education category as it is a question about my eligibility to apply.........

Nitin ,
You have 2option
1.learn french
2.appear ielts again .

I second Siddharth opinion. But learning French may be time consuming, rather re=appearing in IELTS is far more convenient...

Hi all..My application for 3131 returned due to cap reached last year. Now i want to apply again if the category remains in the list. But what is credential assessment? Is it mandatory to do it before sending the application and how can we do that?

Couple of days back, CIC up-dated document check list, credentials assessment was no where there in that check list for this time, although it was very strong say that with effect from 2012, CIC will ask for credentials assessment right with the application.
No body knows what they would do on Jul 01, 2012, but now I feel that there are little chances that CIC would ask it along with application (not sure, only my apprehension).
Apart from that, for pharmacist, credentials assessment can be made by sending the required docs to PEBC (Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada). You can visit their web,
www.pebc.ca

well, as I see, PEBC is the third party. Secondly, for the regulated professions in Canada, only the regulatory body pertaining to that profession has the right to assess the credentials for that profession. So, even in that case we fall under the domain of PEBC.
Yeah, for non-regulated professions (like MBA, general B.Sc or B.A, M.Sc or MA or literature subjects) third party other than PEBC will be involved, which - in our case - is not so.
I strongly believe that PEBC is just enough. We need not to worry about it buddy.

July would be too late for IELTS, you must appear in IELTS on Jun 08 or 09. 13 days are required for IELTS results to reach to you. On Jul 01, the cap would be re-set, they will accept only 500 applications of pharmacist 3131. last year cap for pharmacist was full on Aug 13 or 14. So, don't delay prepare every thing and dispatch your full application on Jul 01, 2012.

Hi farhan,
Agree with your opinion. Better to wait and watch . Hope pharmacist stays and god bless all

Canada calendar 2012

Public holidays Canada http://gocanada.about.com/od/canadatravelplanner/a/canada_holidays.htm

It seams that CIC will be closed even on monday, 2nd July. My sister told me that every time when Canada Day is on Sunday, next working day is off.

If there is going to be any changes in immigration rules, CIC should announce them on June 29 the latest.
