Dear Abbas,
I would like to say that immigration purpose for only is General training Ielts.
While i am also feb 2007 FSW applicant. i do not know, when will this process complete?
i have wasted my life four precious year.

I agree with you. It is really a waste of time, because once you have this plan in mind you can not focus on any other plan.
i wish they can understand and say something either a yes or a no is ok.

I am with you on this one, Canadaforall. I will wait till end of May, and if I still don't hear anything from them, I will start to bombard them with emails every week till I get a case specific reply, and not a standard reply. It is high time that one takes his future into his own hands (after wasting 42months), and not let it be reliant on an unforeseeable immigration process. Maybe that is what they want from the old applicants i.e frustrate them so that they withdraw. Never-mind, one cannot expect to have everything in life.
4 years wasted expecting an update letter is a joke. This is turning out to be a nightmare, and is indeed disgusting that the concerned authorities don't bother to let the applicants have a clue as to what is happening to their applications.
Oh, and then they are planning to reduce the age limit of the applicants in the future but have forgotten that they have let most applicants grow old waiting for just an update letter from them.(LOL)

This is true . I am waiting from last 7 years
for updation of request.

I only took IELTS General Training for immigration purposes. If you're a nurse, I think the IELTS Academic is the one required.

No...for Canada immigration under FSW...One need to have IELTS GEN. module results ONLY.

Mayank

Applied at Kuala Lumpur on Feb 2007. Just got our visa stamped last Apr 21, 2011. There was a year delay because I was pregnant then when medical request was received. My doctor advised not to undergo xray, so I informed CIC. So, my file was 'on hold' status until I gave birth and submit necessary documents for the baby be included in the application.

Congrats....you made it....

Good Luck to you ..

Regards,
Mayank

Everywhere the process is faster than India! Hence, CIC Delhi has to expedite the process.

Canada wants only Indian who apply the latest even though they maybe aged.
While young indians, like me, who applied prior to Feb 2008 have to wait for 7 yrs to get visa and become old in the process

YOU ARE VERY RIGHT. IT'S TIME FOR US TO JOINTLY RAISE OUR VOICE. I AM A 2004 APPLICANT FROM N DELHI. MY MEDS ARE OVER LAST SEPT. I HAVE ALSO SENT THE PASSPORTS. I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE VISAS. THIS IS JUST NOT FAIR. WE CANNOT PLAN ANYTHING AT ALL. THERE SHOULD BE SOME TIME FRAME WHICH THEY SHOULD ADHERE TO & THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE TRANSPARENT. ALSO, OUR PASSPORTS ARE WITH THEM. THEY CANNOT SIT ON IT FOR LONG.WHAT SAY YOU ??

Keep bombarding them with your queries of when will the passport be dispatched or at least provide a timeline for the visa to be provided. Then it's their turn to get fed up with our mails and start replying to our queries.

The other thing is to inform all your friends and relatives who are residing in Canada to vote for the
LIBERALS, as they have promised to reverse the current processing of immigrant applications.

Yaar ,when did you applied from New Delhi? I also applied in 2004 from same office but nothing received. what was your date of application. this will give rough estimate of my case. I wish you will receive your visa at the earliest.
Regards

Dear NIRMAL,

Although our CHC are different, but there is a
similarity bw you and me is " SEP 2004".
I hve yet not recieved updation of docu request.
What about you?

But I have updated documents long ago in Oct 2008 and nothing else except fals hopes in reply to my queries that application is under review by vo.It is realy very very frustrating giving mental agony.Dnt know when the Important day life will come.

@NIRMAL: I guess you should get the medicals before July this year and the visa, assuming all docs in place, by year end or early next year. This analysis is based on the trend followed by the CIC for old applicants filed at New Delhi VO

Hold on, you're reaching the end of the tunnel where the light is beginning to shine
