dear all ..
im under old system .. i have been waiting for 11 weeks after the medicals .. how much more for passport request ?? do you think its soon or it might take a couple of months more ???

What is the funda behind the following news item issued on the CIC on 10th.

whether it will reduce the old applicants backlog or taking steps to make the immigration more difficult.

Hai,

I applied on May-2006 and I did not get any further letters. But I have seen in my ecas below mentioned that "modified on May-2009. What is it mean.

As "modified on May-2009" been shown below means that CIC has lastly modify /update the page on may-2009.

Hi Rimjim,
No doubt,CHC,New Delhi was very slow during the whole year of 2009 with regard to processing of old applicant files,but on the other side they are also issuing new rules notifications from time to time(e.g..ielts mandatory after 10 April,10) for making system faster and to reduce the backlog.I think ,after april,2010,we will definately see some good progress in the field of processing old applicant cases.However Qorax has also rightly said that All said, we just need to have patience [though a tough call] & keep our prayers on... our days shall come... soon.

Hi,

My name is Chintu. I applied at London CHC and got an AOR in July 2007. I got my doc update request in May 2009 and sent my documents in June 2009. Since then I have been waiting for my medical request. I am based in Kuwait.
