I had applied in july,2006.Still waiting for UL ( un-locking of my process) for the last approx 4 years .Rajan,cancon ,Pharmistfarhan have kept their fingers on my Dukhti nabaz.Thanks for sharing apna-apna dukh dard with each others, hope it will help. As per period, we are the seniors but after 27th Feb,2008 we are treating like juniors.

How r u? What's your appliation categoty? What do you mean by:waiting for unlocking of your file? Didn't you got an initial acknowledgment after sending your application to CHC. Did u apply at CHC Islamabad? Please reply

Hi All,

Happy to join this thread of old applicants.Am a Nigerian applied in oct 2004 and application filed in feb 05 and got the generic letter for continued interest to migrate to canada in june 09 and since then have not heard anything.I believe that we are closer to getting this visas and the waiting time been reduced on a daily basis.Let us keep our fingers cross and pray earnestly concerning our case.We will definetly get to our dream land by his grace.

Old cases are currently starting to move. From the threads here,some members have received letters from the various CICs indicating that some cases are being sent to Ottawa. I guess thats good news since the backlog will surely reduce by the day. In some offices around,others have already got requests for updated documents. In some instances like mine,I got requests for passport/RPRF/Medicals all together. I think it's a way for making files move. Let's see how it goes. Good luck to everyone under old rules banner!!!!!

Thanks for you reply.Ul means Updated letter not Un-lock.I was just joking . I got the intial acknowledgement in the month of sept,2006. and letter of interested or not in the month of Dec,2008. I applied from CHC New Delhi.
I am new to this thread but will remain in touch with you people even after landing in Canda.

Hello Rimjim:

I applied in April 2007. After initial AOR, I also got the same letter of interest in Dec 2008, which was replied. No further corrospondence by CHC Islamabad since then. It has be more than a year now. I am definitly expecting some thing after May 2010 (36 Months) or by Nov 2010 (42 Months) deadlines given by CHC in their initial AOR.

;) well... its really good to hear all that...... I personally feel that we (applicants of 2007) would hear some positive thing from CHC ISB in 2010........ lets pray for that.... please remember .. every passing day is putting all of us more and more closer to our destination.
 
Hi friends!

Since we all have a lots of time till our case would be finalise. Is n't it fair to purse before credential recognition process through expanded overseas orientation services to get our degrees verified .Foreign credential recognition (FCR) is the process of verifying that the education, skills and experience obtained in another country are equivalent to the standards established for Canadian professions and trades. .However it will save our time and whenever, we reaches canada will be eligible to sit for exam(requires as per our credential to be assess by them)
If anyone has detail knowledge about credential program .

Good Luck! You are Welcome to this thread. As no processing time has been shown in site of canadian immiration for Tokyo and what was your application processing time shown in your AOR issued by the CHC . Hope to hear firstly from you about Visa in this thread .
