I don't think so as your decision is made against your case, these cases whose decision has not made yet..

You never know it may put some pressure on the Govt and may think over to consider on some relaxation or give some relief to old applicants.

I got this reply from CHC London:




We do not accept payment made to Standard Charter Bank in London as we do not have access to the banking system and are therefore unable to confirm receipt of payment. In order for a payment to be made on your application which is being processed in London you are required to submit a bank draft made payable to "The Receiver General For Canada."

In order to obtain a refund for the payment which you made via direct deposit to the Standard Charter bank you should contact The High Commission of Canada in Pakistan directly.

Sorry we cannot be of further help.

Dear friendz,


they required my son's fee in payorder shape so how does it mean, either the case is still on?...and on the other end they replied u that the selection process hasn't been done and they also required a payorder of ur family fees which u have sent earlier, while ur case and my case is little bit similar as I also submittted fee through standard chartered...

I don't know what they r doing...any ways I'm sending 150 CAD payorder to CHC london.....hope all will be fine InshaAllah...

Hi gspreet,
I am residing at Chandigarh and will lodge my protest with some other old applicants before the Canadian Immigration office,Sector 17,Chandigarh on that day.
 
can some one plzzzzz tell me whats is happening with my application.

simplified process
category - IT
applied - aug 2007
letter with file number - sep 2007
online status - in process since oct 2007
1st letter - aug 2009( if intrested n no refund after this) (online shows in process)
2nd letter - sep 2011 (documents requested )(online shows in process)
documents submitted (deadline was dec 2011)- doc submitted on nov 2011(online shows in process)

no reply from them for received docs.online last checked on april 2012 still IN PROCESS.


WILL THEY RETURN MY APPLICATION looking at the new rule of backlog case or that IN PROCESS online message is of some hope.

one member got reply " ur file is on hold bec. ur selection dec. is not yet made" but i think u shuld send email to vo if ur selection dec. is made then ur file will remain ;continue otherwise not good hope
 
is there any format for the email or thread ..if anyone has plz let e know as this would be my first email to vo..dont want to make mistakes... :-X
 
Today there was some news that Minister has conveyed to visa officers to keep processing old cases till the new policy is passed by parliament of canada. i donot know whether it is again another trick of minister to keep the old applicants in dark or some other reason. we have to wait and watch.
