Dear colleagues,
All those 2004/2005/2006 cases , you d better sen a case enquiry to CHC asking about your cases especially if u didn't get a documents update letter yet.
Be patient fellows and send email to CHC
Regards,
Elie

Thanks for response and nice to see you are 2007 applicant and your case processed so far. Where did you apply from?

Regarding your suggestion me as well as number of applicants have sent their case specific enquiries but everytime we receive same stereotyped answer that due to backlog of applications your case is delayed. :-\

Guys,

Don't loose hope. My passport has already been requested for visa stamping. Look at my timeline. I'm a Feb 2005 applicant

Hi friends,
The same situation is in the CHC Delhi. I applied in December 2004 and nothing has happened as yet. Canada Immigration Department claims that the processing time will be decreased but every time you see the revised processing time - it gets increased by at least 3 months. :-X

Dear Colleagues,
We are all in the same boat of WAITING. Some are waiting more than the others but all of us are waiting.
We should be patient and good luck for all to finalize their files.
Elie

LOL, i understand your frustration and anger i feel that way several times, but what else to do than wait. It must end one day sooner than later i hope.

To jo_1501,

We all are in the same boat >:( >:(

More than three months have been passed of CIC announcements of pursuing New rules(w.e.f Ist July) and as per announcement, the main motive behind the same was to reduce the old applicants backlogs on top priority. Now,as per CIC Latest annoucement, the waiting list for immigration applications has gone up to around one million names. This is despite several efforts by government to cut inefficiencies in the system and to make it fast and efficient. Moreover, I haven't heard from any south Asian countries old applicants(2004 onwards) on this forum, about the issuance of any visa or even receiving of medical request to them. This means, Longer waiting lists for processing of Canada visa applications mean longer periods of uncertainty for the applicants as well as their families. By doing so, the government of Canada is contradicting its own projections. Don't know ,what is the Kenney's future plans.

Another week is gone with no result.

I request all old applicants to forget about this Canadian immigration for a few yrs.

Expectation leads to disappointment!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I've just been informed by my consultant about the pre 2008 applicants being put on hold. I've pasted his comments below.

Thursday, October 6, 2011 5:51 PM

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Ludick,

Please be advised that we have been recently receiving many notices for applications submitted prior to February 27, 2008 which have explained the delays in processing. Visa offices are putting many applications submitted around that time on hold until they receive further instructions from the Parliament. As you may already be aware, there have been changes in the ministerial instructions last June 26, 2010. Applications submitted at that time or after are currently being prioritized by the visa offices as these applicants reflect the present economic needs of Canada . This has caused significant delays in processing applications submitted before June 26, 2010; this decision is done by the Canadian Government and our office cannot control, challenge or change this. ???
