All the citizenship related communication is by letter, not emails?

But citizenship related communication is still by letters?

That's because you had a question.. Otherwise, all notices and request coming from CIC are delivered via regular mail.
The only time I heard CIC communicating with applicants through email was during the postal strike couple years ago.
