I called IRCC and the agent said my file was digitized on October 6, but is still in CPC-M. Why does it take long to send it on to the visa office? I
Don’t understand tbh, it’s all done online. Doesn’t take a second to hit the send button?
Same situation.. no update! Digitization is all done a long ago and they’re not sending the file to VO.
I’m so impatient now.. can’t take it anymore

hello all
I am sponsor ( canadian citizen by naturalization). my baby will born in january 2022 and my wife file is in process ( PR application).
my question is if the baby will born in january and my wife file is still in process in january 2022 .. should i have to add baby in PR application or sholud i have apply for canadian passport for my babay or should i have to apply for citizenship certificate for my baby.??
please help me out. i do not know what to do,.
thank you in advance
Are you going through spousal sponsorship appeal?! If so your wife's application will take a long while.
You should apply for proof of citizenship for your child once he/she is born.

How long did it take you guys to get your appeal notes? And did any of you were able to do an early resolution meeting?

This is so ridiculous. I don't really know the reason they didn't check the file.
They just need to review and finalize it. That's it.
Why this simple step could take them such long time. I don't really understand.

Does not sound like he's going through appeal. He might be in the wrong forum. Also, I think you should notify IRCC of your wife's pregnancy and also notify them when they child is born as the child will be born outside of Canada.

I honestly don't know why they cannot deploy more resources to process appeal cases. There are hundreds of applications waiting to be processed or redetermined by another officer for months and yet we can't see much traction. We read that family unification is a major pillar in Canadian immigration but this is almost on paper not in actions.

They revenge you for winning that why.
