File rejected after interview on January 2018
Apply for appeal on January 218
Got full hearing date on 27 September 2018 win appeal on the spot
File reopen on January 18 2019 and receive documents request from Ottawa
Documents submitted on 27 January 2019
So on 31 July receive pre arrival letter and background check start 1st August got passport request and submitted on 3rd August and receive back with stamp visa on 6th August
Thanks to all of you and I pray everyone case go fast and will receive a positive decision from immigration

Hi guys I applied for family sponsorship 3 years ago and I didn’t get it then we applied for appeal and we got approved in April 2019 for the PR .. they ask me to do medical exam again and fingerprints i did everything by May also they told me we will contact u to send yourpassport to stamp the visa on it but until now they didn’t ask for it it has been almost 3months...
any one have experience to help me how long it gonna take??
Its in Mississauga visa office
Cuz everytime i call the immigration they said your file in processing..

i think with in a month you got your PPR BTW You lived in two country's Saudi and Paki so its took some more time to finish your
Background check
in my case i live in only one country my VO Before won appeal is colombo now its Mississauga
i send mu updated PCC And Bio metric fess 12-aug-2019
13th my background change to in process and i got bio metric instruction letter
i gave my finger prints and photo 15th immediately my gc key change bi0metric sec complected
and biometric number and valititidy date also showed
after that nothing change

My timeline is same as yours, completed medical and provided them updated forms in May. Its been three months and whenever I enquire about my application they respond like “we’re processing your security check”.

same thing I am also when I rec the letter biometric next day finish biometric and update after 4 hours in gckey INSHALLAH we will soon hear news for passport request .

From when you submitted the forms, how long before they got back to you and sent you your package back?
Did you have to hire a lawyer or did you go to the hearing and represent yourself?

Yes if ADR is successful, you will not go to Appeal board. Please understand that what you are going to do now is challange the judgement of the Visa Officer. So whatever points they mentioned in the reason to denie your husband the PR, you ahve to prove each and everyone of them wrong. So get ready for a stressfull battle. I hope the consulant you hired knows what he is dealing with. Discuss every single even small things with him. You should mentally gfet ready to answer all possible wired questions they might ask.

To be honest, it is stressfull, difficult process but its not impossible. Most of the genuine cases in ADR are successful. Your appeal is sent to ADR and if they see that you have a strong case and going to appeal board will be wastage of time and money, only then they allow you ADR process. So, be careful and well prepared when you file the appeal. You must counter attack each reason for refusal in the letter and more. Start collecting all the evidence and other material to prove its genuine case.
