On the document attached with the blue book, It said we should send it 20 days before the hearing date. When will your lawyer send yours ? The lawyer of someone I know is going to send her file before she even finds out whether she gets the ADR or not, so I'm not sure if it's good to send early. My lawyer won't start doing anything until we have the date.

Hi guys, I was notified today that my husband has to undergo an interview. I tired to read other threads and I know you probably dont want to reminisce on bad times but what kind of questions should we prepare for. Thankfully my husband knows me pretty well but Im scared theyre going to throw in a question that he wont be able to answer. Im ordering notes today to understand exactly why they are requesting an interview. (even though I know its because our relationship is still quite fresh) Any tips would be greatly greatly appreciated and I am praying for all of your appeals to process quickly.

I am in the same boat as you. I haven't heard anything after the decision letter.

The same to me. My lawyer told me that visa office has 4 month max to prosses our PR. Can be before but in my experience they use the maximum of time. I am waiting for the medical, police and order to pay 400 dollars and write a letter to return.

Thanks Wife0210. Did you have to translate your chat and email too ? Did you have them translated by an official translator ? A senior here suggests he uses the software to translate but our language is hard so it doesn't seem to translate properly.

Unless, I missed something. I beg to differ from your lawyer......4 months max ? Never heard of such a thing. Wish it was so.

Hello Everyone, just a quick update, My wife receive the decision letter today from the Judge saying our appeal has been allowed....Im feel much better know...I knew before that we won our appeal back in october but i still wanted to see it on paper though....So now we join the group that is waiting to hear from ottawa or the embassy in our countries.

Hi Shuaibks, I am Annie who called you on the 11th, Nov from China, thank you very much for the instruction of calling Vancouver IAD, guess what? yesterday we tried the same number, and as you told us, dial 1 then quickly 0, there was a lady answered the phone. We confirmed with IAD the full hearing date, and now im booking the flight tickets for my husband to Vancouver from China, a round trip, he only will stay there from 13th, Dec, attend the hearing on 14th, then come back on the 15th.
