Thank you i appreciate ur reply... from what i understand he was denied because of his body language. .. the woman interviewing him stated that his body language didnt really show her he loved me... i did send in more proof.. videos pictures conversations but wasn't sure if i was able to take more when i go to the meeting... which is a video conference... is that normal? Most things i have read have said an in person conference but mine is on video... does anyone know like what questions they ask and how long the conference usually is... i sent in letters from my family but didnt sendnone in from myself didnt think i should where i was doing the conference but now im regretting it... should i write something and take it with me? Again thank you i appreciate the help
you are welcome dear
i have not heard about a video conference at ADR. but i believe this will be an easy one for you. bcoz, they dont need even you to come over there. so, normally they'll take only 20 minutes to 1 hour for ADR. so, they may be just need to talk with you and need to solve some of things with you about your marriage. so, you have to tell everything truly and clearly to them. if they had a big issue with your genuineness they would definietrly give you a full hearing so, be strong and read your evidences and letters which you have already submitted to the CIC and for them. and take more and more updated proofs like call, skype, letters etc. if you can take some letters from friends and family saying that they know about your relationship as you two are husband and wife. I hope that you''l get a good ministers counsel and your one will be easy for you. but be confident and strong to answer directly and clearly when they ask something from you. good luck

I ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS BCOZ I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS WHEN SOMEBODY IS ALONE AND NOBODY IS THERE TO SUPPORT EVEN BY A WORD.........
SO, IF THERES A WORD TO HELP US, THAT WILL BE A GOOD STRENGTH FOR SOMEBODY TO TAKE ON.........

SO, HOPE TO HELP OTHERS THE WAY WE CAN..... AND ALSO THERE ARE LOTS OF FRIENDS HERE TO HELP EACH OTHER BUT SOMETIMES THEY ALSO MAY BE BUSY WITH SOME STUFF AND I THOUGH TO HELP THEM THE WAY I CAN
IF ANYBODY THERE PLZZZZ LET THEM KNOW MORE IDEAS........
THANKS

my husband is in Pakistan to visit me and our daughter. After his arrival i received refusal letter. can we file appeal from pakistan?
According to my knowledge you can appeal from Canada but have to appeal in Canada.
I meant that you can appeal while you are in Pakistan but you have to courier or register post the appeal form to Canada. but you have to give them a canadian address as your address. and they will send the blue book to your canadian address within 120 days from your appeal date. and also they will give you a ADR date or a Full Hearing date and the sponsor should be in Canada.
but do not get hurry to go back to Vancouver. bcoz once when we were refused as we dint send the correct document on time, my husband appealed from vancouver and he was in toronto in that time and they have told him that he could post the appeal. how ever he apply for the appeal and came to visit me. then we were asked to send a explanation letter and and make a written submission. so, we sent the package through a courier service. then we won at that time.

BUT I DONT KNOW UNDER WHICH GROUND YOU WERE REFUSED.

AND ALSO IF I'M WRONG PLZZZ SOMEBODY CORRECT ME.

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for more information about how long it takes to process once an Appeal has been won. My application was refused in February 2011. I had a full hearing in June 2014 which was allowed. I have heard nothing since then. I know that they lost my decision letter in between because they asked me for a copy to investigate where it was. I am sponsoring my husband from India and my hearing was in Montreal. Please help. I want to go to the local MP but will he be able to do anything?? I am soo frustrated. My daughter is now a year old and I am tired of this process.

I am sorry I know how you feel, frustrated of this shit. I won mine in end of July then received decision letter mid of Aug. Now I think the case is in Ottawa and I think it will be processed Ottawa as my original office was Pakistan but I have not heard anything yet ....

I read here most of the time it takes up to 6 months for rest of processing. I don't even know who to talk, I emailed Ottawa but they just said case is awaiting for officer's review. I don't know what to say this process is shit... and I am feeling restless. Hope you feel better

so now theres no problem with that and your husband has already paid the default fees so, now he can appeal and say that he is no longer owe to the government thats it

Hello every one
Yesterday i have send case specific enquiry to Paris because its been over 3 months since the interview. Today i received a refusal letter. Really i feel so numb.
The reasons they gave us is because of the age difference, because this marriage does not follow traditional Tunisian norms, because he used google translate to communicate with me in the beginning. She had our conversations and some records from skype where we talk daily without any translate. She also said that his goals for settling in canada were studying and economic.
Omg. I can understand the first 3 points but i am sure he did not mention studying here only that he does plan to work once he is here. Why they would think thats a bad thing, and how does that prove our relationship is not genuine. So she let me go there to be with him and keep hoping while all this time she was planning to refuse. I feel so sad. why they have to wait all this time to refuse.

Soblue3 I am so sorry to hear about this. My heart is with you.

Did you have a full hearing or was it an ADR? These officials don't understand how hard and difficult it is to be away from someone you love. We are the ones who know our genuine relationships. We are the ones who know what it is to be alone with our spouses behind closed doors. They do not. It is unfair and cruel. If your husband wants to come to Canada to better himself than why is that an issue? That does not mean your relationship is not valid.

The communication thing is not fair in my opinion. They said the same thing with us when my husband had his interview for his visa. In the beginning of our relationship I used a translator because I can speak the language, but have difficulty writing. How cruel are they to assume that means we are not truly in love. It feels like they forget we are human too. It makes me so mad.
