ALL SPOUSE APPEAL CASES COME HERE AND JOIN US PLZ

Hi All,

My Spousal application was rejected on 10th Oct 2012 after interview in Delhi. WE filed in appeal in Nov in Torontoand got letter in Dec thth appeal has been accepted.
One week back we got all documents of from CIC explaning their concerns and notes of interview tht happen in Delhi.
We called IAD and they said they will let us know the appeal date.

Do you have ny idea when shall we except the date and after how many months tht appeal might happen.

Please let me know. Seeing the post its making me nervous as its taking too long time for these.

greetings. what was the reason they gave your for refusal. ? You can expect a wait time anywhere from 6 months (ADR) to more than 2 years for full hearing. I won my appeal in Toronto. I had to wait more than 2 years from the time I filed the appeal to hearing date ! On the bright side.....most appeals are allowed. !!!!!

They say we rushed for marriage.. as we got married in short period. Also we did a short marriage first time... and we didnt had enough pics and all.

So do you have any idea on what basis they decide to pass on appeal to ADR or full hearing. Also if it goes in ADR then what date we can expect for ADR hearing....

In this case, I would assume (I hate that word) they will want a full hearing. ADR is given when there are 1 or 2 issues that can be resolved quickly.

More than likely, you will need to go to full Hearing. Count on 2 years or more. Having said that, timelines do change ! Maybe it will be less for you ! I have spoken to many people about waiting time in Toronto. Currently, count on about 2.5 years.

You can always ask them but I wouldnt hold my breath
MP cannot do much at this time. Once again.....you can ask them

I highly recommend you hire a Lawyer or Immigration Consultant for your Appeal.

By any means can we contact tht immigration department as ask them or request them for ADR. By submiting proof in advance or something like tht

you can try but I wouldnt expect anything. Just be respectful (not full of anger)
