Yes, a times experience so annoying and a times stress free it all depends on the argument, ur lawyer and government rep. Some are friendly but make sure ur argument is point based nd ur words nd husband's own tally to show both know each other.. Good luck

Hey guys hope everyone is okay it’s been a while since I post wishing everyone to stay strong with your appeals my husband and I won our in Montreal on dec 11 after being denied back in April of 2018. I would like alittle clarification on something though today I received a email with my pre arrival letter and passport request along with visa fee (that we did not refund since the beginning processing) along with passport pictures to be submitted within 15 days did not do any medical or policed checks. Any clarification on wat exactly this means ?

You may not be required to provide PCC or fill up the forms again as your original application was refused not too long ago. But medical is valid for one year only. You must redo it. Please fill up the inquiry on the webform seeking clarification.

But mu husband died from massive heart attack. i did informed the cic and attached death certificate. I received an email that they closed my application. We have a 3 yr old daughter. No clue but people from Ottawa receive pcc, medical and new forms request quite fast, usually within 3 wks after they win their appeal.

yes it takes three weeks because mine is processing from Ottawa. Do you have any idea how long they will take to check background? and after how long send PCC request.

Bcg should start around 3 - 4 wks after you had submitted everything. I can't say for sure how long will take for your bcg to complete but I know a few others from Ottawa only take 3 days for the bcg to complete and received ppr email right after.

Can u plz share the timeline of ur appeal i mean how much time you waited?

Our appeal was almost 2 years. In Saskatchewan. Then about another 5 months until my husband got his Visa.
