I have my ADR Nov 14 via Skype
They decide, not you. The closest appeal office to me is Montreal and I live in Newfoundland so assuming instead of having me travel to the office they would do Skype which is a great help financially after going through the whole process.Good afternoon
They scheduled my ADR for January, I still do not know if it will be via skype or in person, how did you do for your adr to be via skype?

Good luck SV670, my appeal is in Toronto too but when I called IAD my case manager told me that the wait time to get a hearing date is 2 yrs after I receive my blue book. It seems like you can get a hearing date very quickly, I am not sure why I need to wait for that long. I filed my appeal in June 2016 and received my blue book in Oct 2016.Hi All,
I am getting back to the forum after a while, today I got a call from the Immigration Office Toronto, and they gave me a date of Hearing which is set for December.
Just wanted to know, as to how do I prepare for my hearing which is a full hearing (not an ADR). Also let me know, if the systems are little relaxed or they behave the same way.
My Timeline-
Date of Applciation - Jan 2012
Interview Call - June 2014
Refusal received - Feb 2016
Appeal Filed - Feb 2016
Hearing Date Dec 2017.
I think you are gonna get full hearing because if it was with IAD you would have gotten the date by now.Good luck SV670, my appeal is in Toronto too but when I called IAD my case manager told me that the wait time to get a hearing date is 2 yrs after I receive my blue book. Girl im studying day and night because i know im gonna kick ass. Im also going through the canlii website to see cases similar to mine. As i know they will crack down on the age difference beteween my husband and INot that I don’t feel 100% confident that I will kick ass at the ADR and win the appeal, just curious if there is anyone here who didn’t win and had to go to a full trial? And what the outcome was?
After you send update form .. your status shows "in process "a decision made only show after they will receive your medical .Hi MaryL or anyone who wins your appeal. Once you send the updated forms, does your cic online show any status that the forms have been received ? Or you simple only see the decision made after that ? I don't see any update on mine and worry the form might get lost. I sent it a week ago. Thanks for your responses.
How much of an age difference? I know girls with 15+ years age difference that got visa on the spot. It’s hard to say, depending on the officers I guessGirl im studying day and night because i know im gonna kick ass. Im also going through the canlii website to see cases similar to mine. Yes it is a full hearing, no eta of my date yet, but they told me is 2 yrs after I receive my appeal records, I file my appea 4 monthsl after sv670, doesn't look like his case takes 24 months after he received his blue book, so I am just wondering, I must be special. Also the blue book I received only have a 100 pages in it, whatever I submitted when I file my sponsorship hardly there.I think you are gonna get full hearing because if it was with IAD you would have gotten the date by now.
Thank you VG73. I'd like know about the note once you click on the "in process" status. Would it say they have received my updated forms ? As I notice it does tell me the date they send me the corespondents. After you send update form .. your status shows "in process "a decision made only show after they will receive your medical .
