Its my advise to everyone.. don't go to consultancy company .. they are good for nothing .. just they will take your money and say Thanks...

Appeal is very big deal as, we are trying to revert VO decision so, i would suggest to go for lawyer ... My experience says .... CIC atleast listen to lawyer ...

I am telling by experience .... I had applied though a consultancy "ICC Immigration Mississauga" ... they show up only first time when sign the paper and given the $$$$ then they never show up ... once my case was rejected they show up again for appeal money ... Lawyer are bit costly ... if you can hire one do that ... else we can appeal by own ... just we need to aware enough ....

Waiting is a only game which CIC play .... we will win our case and start our life again.

I wish I could afford a lawyer... I went with the consultant cuz he is my best friends uncle ...... Im hoping he is not like the rest. So far he has made his schedule very open for me and he has been nothing but kind.... maybe it helps that my best friend is with me when I met with him lol....

with all due respect. I hired a Immigration consultant and we won our appeal. There are all kinds of stories to go around.

Yes, i agree sometimes we can defend ourselves bettre than so call consultant.All they do is to take your money and don't have time to help when the situation get worse.

Hello Everyone.... So we got a reply to our appeal asking for more docs n for this the early resolution officer will take the decision whether we can further appeal... They have given us a month's time to submit the docs n they will further take 21days to reply n may call us for the interview... Does this mean its an ADR??? xperts please advice whats ur take on this??

initial application- April 2009
Interview- Feb 2010 (denied....'not genuine')
Appeal filed April 2010
Full Hearing- August 2012 (appeal allowed)
April 2013- processing has started (once again)

total- 4 years 2 months. A very simple case (no ex's, no kids) The waiting time to get Hearing in Toronto was the biggest obstacle in this nightmare (28 months) I try to remain positive ! ???

You won your appeal last August, and they didn't start to process your file until April, eight months later??? Why did it take so long and where was your file all this time? Also, can you check ECAS using your old Client ID #?

Omgggggggggg that is wayyyyyyyyyy too long... Is there anyone out there with a better timeline??? omg... I know that my appeal division is Vancouver.. and on the website it says 10 months or less.....Im I missing something??? :'(

freeislam000 , i had a full hearing in vancouver in 14 may 2013, but we dont get a decision yet , it talks between 6 months to one one year
