I wonder if we all had the same VO. There was another person on this forum as well and from what her husband told my husband about the appearance of that VO it seems like the same woman. She was truly unfair and prejudiced. It is amazing that somebody like that has this job paid for by our tax money.

I received my Ready for Visa email from Immigration Section, Embassy of Canada, Abu Dhabi, UAE this morning.
Will send passport through Aramex tomorrow.

Yes you will receive a confirmation email right away. Be sure that all documents you sent them is not more than 5mb, so you have to scan everything using a lower dpi but it should be readable.

( Singapore visa office )

application submission in 2014
visitor visa May 2015 ( refused )

interview ( Malaysia) in June 2016

denied in September 2016

Appeal Oct 2016

received blue book Mac 2017

hearing will be on July ( based on a phone call and waiting a letter )


concern during the interview which lead to refusal :

1- we didn't stay for long together after marriage in summer 2013 .

2- we didn't meet during the process of our application ( I am studying in Malaysia , my wife studying in Toronto )


this is the main points were stressed by visa officer in during the interview with me in June 2016 .


Now , we are together since Oct 2016 , I have met also her family in Oct 2016 . I have 2 question .


What is the possible question during hearing?

Can i order GCM NOTE Now? Any thing about interview written in the note?

You can do several attachments. I did like 6 attachments (updated forms, 3 police clearances, passport page) in an email to CPC Ottawa.

Each case is unique. Focus on the issues raised by the visa officer and provide a lot of evidence like pictures, itinerary, receipts of big purchases, pictures with family and friends, joint accounts, credit cards, etc,
My partner and I both wrote a timeline of our relationship from the beginning to the present. This will help you to remember important dates in your relationship.
You also have knowledge about each others family composition(number of siblings, names of parents, where are they, their work, etc).
I was asked how we communicate, how frequent, what do we talk about. Our plans. What things we like to do together.
By the way, I applied as a Conjugal partner and our appeal was allowed right after the hearing.

Congrats!! It all depend on your visa office. They will have to send you a confirmation letter and you have to send updated forms and do back medical and police clearance and send it in.
