I can't believe how fast things are going my husband did his med in March and April we sent away the package this morning I woke up I got an email requesting his passport already!

Congratulations ! It is really encouraging that things are moving fast!

I received a letter which asking me to attend a session to review if everything that I have ...

Is it actual hearing (IAD) date?

tofan-ram, just quote the letter precisely, and you will find an answer yourself... what is the title? "Notice to Appear"?
Ater that it should say: "You are required to appear at..." and not just to "attend a session".
Othewise (by what you said) I can suggest that they only want to see what documents you may have on hand. Did you send anything to the IAD earlier?

i am sad...no news....i apealed in February 2016 thy sent letter with IAD number....still waitng,...when i will get blue book and date of adr....appeal is in Toronto....how much time they will take....please reply me

You are looking at a 2 year waiting time for Toronto. If you are lucky to get ADR then it will be less time. Hopefully that will change soon though with all the changes the new government is making.

Congrats Tuoicao. I am 1 month later than you, so i hope will get a passport request soon after you. Could you help me with this question please:

after i did my medical in mid of Apr, and sent the updated forms by UPS at the end of April, my e-status just stayed as below:

We received your application for permanent residence on March 30, 2016.
We started processing your application on June 30, 2014.
We sent you correspondence on April 5, 2016. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

Some peers told me their e-status will show 'we have received your medical result' soon after their re-medical. I wonder how soon did you see your e-status showed medical received after the re-medical done? we called cic yesterday, were told it takes 1-3 months for them to receive medical, and gladly they did receive my UPS package with all the requested forms. I also cant help but wondering: does it mean the quicker your e-status showed 'we have received medical result', the quicker your case will get processed, is that true?

Please, if also anyone on this forum knows the situation or have a similar situation, please kindly advise.

since you just won your appeal in April 2016.......it will take you about 45-50 working days to hear from iad give or take.... They are going to send the request for additional documents to the sponsor in canada in the mail...and your spouse will have to get a police record back for there country so i would advice for the spouse to go back to there country and get the police record and the medical do as soon as possible because they are going to ask for those things since the last once expired...plus copy the bio page of there passport and updated forms and have them ready so when they request them then you will have them on hand to send them in the same time

hey Annie my husband e-status had the same as yours. after a week of his medical done it also added on medical is received.

also my husband case was process in ottawa and not singapore. the visa will be issue in singapore tho.

Yea he got his visa and he is currently in Canada. He came at the end of April. ;D
