I called IRCC today and at beginning the agent even refused to check the status of my application due to its not priority. I said I waited for the whole process almost three year and I haven't hear anything for 1 year after case being reopened. And she was so cold in her tone said this is normal.
After I said I would like to see whether there any request on my file and she said she could check for me but not status. Also, she mention they are working on it.
Unbelievable!

OMG! You are still waiting on them? That’s crazy.
We got a passport request and COPR on Sept 16th with “ Your application for Permanent resident visa has been approved “ and my husband must arrive on or before 15/04/2022.
By the way, our passport was sent from Warsaw to London. We got a notification yesterday that it’s on transit back to Warsaw.
I pray you get yours soon as well.
I’m so happy for you! Congratulations!

We are still waiting. It’s been at least 3 weeks since our MP said they will get as an update asap. Haha. At least the guy got reelected, so we don’t need to sign these forms again. I’m keeping myself busy. That’s the only thing that helps me stay out of this mess. Btw, on the other day I saw a post on an immigration forum. Someone posted unofficial statistics on VOs approval rate. Warsaw VO had 54%… I definitely wasn’t surprised.

We need to speak up. Please guys. We cant keep suffering like this. This is not fair and clearly IRCC doesnt give any shits about our mental health.
A petition or protest whatever it takes.

We tried the protest but it's not working everybody has some excuse so I gave up on that thought nobody seems to stick together

We used a registered immigrarion consultant and we won our appeal. He charged us $4000.00 and did everything virtually as he is in Ontario and we are outside of Canada. It was definitely worth it. He was also our rep during the PR application. We have used different lawyers and consultants throuought the years. He was by far the most honest, fair and got the job done.
Hi. Question for you. At your hearing where you together in the same room? Was it virtual? I have hearing in November and by that time I will be with my husband. So my laywer is not sure if IAD will allow us to be together during the hearing. The network connection in Africa is really bad so the only thing Is phone call hearing.

I need help pls
I have been sponsoring my wife and 2.4 years daughter since may 2018 and I have received refusal letter from visa office today.

The visa office did not asking me any additional documents before the decision made.Just I received refused letter .

It make make confused . The reason the officer state that you did not include your family in your previous application, it is so confusing me I got married after I received permanent resident visa of Canada .How can I included them in my application in September 2015 .

I got Canada visa in April 2016 and I got marred in May 2016 and My wife became pregnant in June 2016 and I moved to Canada in August 2016 and then she got birth in feb 2017 a . I started to sponsor in May 2018 and them I got refused .

When I filled my own application In September 2015 , I had no any family member So why the visa officer stated that the reason I got refused in my previous application, applicant did not include his family members.

How long it will take to appeal

How and when IDA respond to Confirm my appeal. Pls
Hey! Did you appeal ? What happened after ?

I got refusal on spouse openwork permit and my PR is in process along my husband from May 2019 but he applied pr in Jan 2018 added me in jan 2019. Applied spouse work permit in September 2019 after 2 years my spouse visa is reject due to I didn't submit documents( which actually I submitted via VAC and I have receipt .they put 16(1) section and second reason they added as unathntication. Any how I appeal on spouse work permit on September 10 2021 let's see. PR is in process. Too much upset. I don't want to apeal for spouse work permit but my consultant said its important otherwise can impact on PR. They renuin my life as my husband is stuck in his PR due to me and now our relationship is getting upset

Our hearing was virtual. I was interviewed first, without my husband. Then he was interviewed but I was allowed be there. I was home and he was in the US. I do not believe the applicant is allowed to be in the same room as the sponsor when the sponsor is being interviewed.
