Thanks everyone .. don't have word to express my happiness... waiting for big day when my wife will be here with me ..

In interview they didn't call my wife and they started like a clean slate.. they didn't refer the my wife interview ...

but be carefull with date when you say .. they compare with passport and form which we had filled first time ...

they only asked normal question like first meeting, when we decieded to get marry, what is future plan, do we want to have baby in future, what are the plan when she will be here ... try to be calm and compose with answer only answer what they asked.. not more not less ..

ONE ackward question ... when did we had sex first time

Anyways .... No matter how hard someone hit you ... hit them more harder ways ... nothing can crash you in life .. be strong ...

Plz tell me when u received ur hearing date after receiving ur blue book ?and does Immigration appeal tribunal send itself hearing date after receiving blue book or lawyer again send anything then again they wil send hearing date wether it short or full hearing date ?? IAD will contact u after u receive the blue notes. I am in Vancouver and its been mnths since i have recived the blue book, and still waiting for the IAD letter or call.

Interesting topic. We haven't had an interview, but I do want to know about these things if it does happen to us, so thanks to all who contributed to this conversation.

I wish we knew about what would happen at an interview. We did not have a clue. The rep taht put our sponsorship app together saying we may have an interview witha few questions before receiving a visa. We did not know anymore than that. Had we known we could have prepared for it. I did ask about the caips notes after our refusal of the visa to the rep and she said yes that she will order them.I also asked her also why she did not order them prior to the interview as I noticed others were on here, she said she does not do that until after a refusal. :'( It was a huge surprisethat hubby got an interview and then not get a visa after almost 10 years together. Something fishy there. Hubby answered all of the questions he said and only got a couple wrong over the course of 4 hours of being there. It was horrific hubby said. They never invited me to attend the interview and they put on the caips notes that I was a no show??? Hubby is very angry with the VO and the embassy. They are now letting everybody out within 4 months earliest not even checking files and waiving interviews. Also people marrying on second and third vacations after meeting are all coming to Canada no problem . They don't even know eachother or have any quality face time and no interviews all getting into Canada and here we are. :'(I am so angry and upset :'(

Hi I sponsored my husband who is in Sri Lanka and I am on ODSP. He was refused of the PR in September 2013. He was refused under Financial reasons.

Financial reasons

39. A foreign national is inadmissible for financial reasons if they are or will be unable or unwilling to support themself or any other person who is dependent on them, and have not satisfied an officer that adequate arrangements for care and support, other than those that involve social assistance, have been made.

Only reason they refused his visa was because I was on ODSP. We provided everything including my husbands employment history, his education and he is an accountant. I provided my savings account and my parents tax forms and the visa officer refused because I didn't meet LICO. Now we have appealed the case in toronto. I wanted to know if there is any one with a similar situation and how they over came this. If anyone knows how long it will take to process the appeal and what are the chances that I will win it. I hired Niren and associates as my lawyer to represent me. I hope to hear from someone. Thanks in advance

Hello Guguz .. thank u for replying dear .im from pakistan n my hubby is from vancouver .i ve received my blue book a week ago . My lawyer was saying tht .IAD wil contact us after 3 to 4 months bcoz due to busy schedule .i dont know who said tht vancouver time is short :'( :'( :'( :'(

That's terrible, I think that rep (did you pay all his fees up front???) could have been more helpful and ordering the notes BEFORE a refusal would be helpful to know why they were requesting an interview in the first place. I'd be upset too.

Hi my wife and i went on appeal on july 10 this yr and we won the case we got e mail from ottawa that they r dealing with us now and asked me to update my documents and undergo new medical and police check i sent everything on aug 29 i didnt hear nothing from them until i asked them if they received everything and they said that they received it and its passed to a immigration officer for assessment,my question is how long do you think guys i will receive my passport req and are they done with a background check i didnt live anywhere else except serbia please somebody answer and ty all

As per time lines i had in my case in india I was asked to submit my passport after 6-7 weeks after I submitted all docs and forms. And after tht in 3 weeks I got my passport back. So can assume around same time
