Just wondering, has anyone ever gotten through an appeal without an actual hearing or mediation? When asked to send in evidence for their concerns, has the ministers council ever agreed to reopen the file without needing the actual hearing?
Mainly because we didnt have the receipt of the hotel we stayed at and ring was on the wrong hand

Hello everyone. I won.ADR in November 27. Got decision letter after a week. Since then no update. I called IAD, was told my file has been transferred to the VO. Please how long do I have to wait to get requests for medical and all . Thank you

Congratulations ! My full hearing was on October 7th, sent all documents on November 15th. Medical / interview accepted but no news still

Are you representing yourself as well? Just be prepared; there is no such as being “too prepared”. I personally made TWO binders with all supporting documents with extra copies. I read everything in our file and highlighted and brought up all all the inconsistencies and agent’s mistakes. I had over 500 pages of documentations(boarding passes, passport stamps, my ACTUAL passport, wedding certificate, MANY PICTURES (different ones from the one we initially sent), social media posts, proof of communication between my spouse and I and his family members, my insurance). Actual natural, be in time and spread your documents on the table to be able to read key information as you won’t be allowed to touch them without permission. I treated the whole thing like a conversation about us.
