My Friend,
I asked previous question because from your timeline you received your AOR on 10/07/2013 and then File transferred to Manila visa office on 20/08/2014 (About 1 Year and 1 month after) it means your application took 1 year to reach to Manila visa office and it shows It was somewhere else in this big world! ;) because CIO never keep files after sending AOR and they immediately transfer files to other local visa offices and there are cases which one application first transfer to one visa office and after a while they transfer it to its final destination and start working on it.

Anyway, You passed your way and you received your passport request. About ECAS, don't worry because in many same situations there are applicants who landed in Canada with their permanent resident visas before but theirl ECAS still showing they are In Process!!! ;D
if my memory serves me right, i think Nova scotia sent the files to SVO 1st which later transferred to Manila VO.

I think i got 2 AOR. will look into my mailbox.

anyway im kind of stuck with one concern.

I have 2 passport now

OLD passport which has validity till jan 2016 - this is the passport i used to submit my application.
(in my nomination PDF they said my passport is soon to be expired in a separate note)
so now i renewed and got a new passport which has a new number

and new passport fortunately mentions my old passport number.

I am filling out my appendix form atm which i need to submit along with my passport.

So my question is : Should I send only my new passport?
and should I mention only the new passport # in the appendix A ?

Just fired away our passports to Singapore VO by VFS Dhaka( me and my spouse) and mentioned only the new passport# just like you said.

Dhaka VFS office advised me to talk to Singapore visa office since they couldn't recommend anything.
I actually did try calling at 6568545900 but couldn't get anyone.

I'm starting to think that VFS can never really provide specific information. They are probably not authorized to do so.
anyway got my vfs tracking# hoping to get my visa with PP within 20th July 2015. 8)

"Decision Made" showed up at the main screen of ecas....finally.

btw whats the usual timeline between passport dispatch to SVO and having it back??

and just when I was planning for my migration, a new job offer came in and I'm thinking of staying in BD for another 6 months or so. Since I can save quite a lot from this new job.

Would this be a bad move?

Is there any significant ticket price difference from July 2015 to March 2016?

Each time you receive your passport back with your PR visa, you have time to immigrate to Canada until your visa validity date (It is one year after your medical date) and it is your discretion to choose when you want to move to Canada. Immigration has all its concerns and many of immigrants have their own matters in their countries before they want to move to Canada. Then nothing is a bad move! All are fine! ;)

About ticket price, in some seasons because of the volume of travelers, ticket price is going high and after high season it will come down to its normal range. In many countries summer is a high season and Air ticket prices are higher than normal range but in tourist countries located on near Equator because of its warm winter weather, winter time is high season! I think you can find better ticket prices for Canada for winter time.

Good luck.

Yes, VFS has no information on such cases. But don't worry you are in right track.

Currently its taking roughly two months to get passport back with visa from SVO. after all its SVO :)

Best of Luck.

Kindly help.
