I applied in march 2011 in family stream. Have not heard anything from them since then.. Can anybody tell me how can I check my status online?

skmarch31.... U can check the status of ur application if u put ur case online otherwise u can call/email them for inquiry. Secondly, smile_2_good applied on 22 march 2011 and he received a request to update few documents... Its mean that they working on march, 2011 application so, be ready soon u will get some update request.. By the way what is ur date of application?????

@ smile_2good.....Can you tell me if your IELTS was valid on the very date when your file was lodged with SINP, as my cased was filed in july and my IELST was expiring its two years validity in August. My consultant says it should be valid when the case is filed, therefore no further requirement of IELTS. My band was 8.5

honesty_12: How much points did you calculate in your self assessment for IELTS band of 8.5? I got overall 7.5 and took 8 points in the SINP self assessment. I hope I have not calculated more than what I deserve.

Application sent (Paper) : 9th August, 2011
Application received : 15th August, 2011

No document request Received yet.
IELTS training taken in General Training, and got 6 Bands overall. (Not yet submitted to SINP)

Is general training is sufficient for immigration? I have no plan to study.
Is there any minimum requirement for Bands? I gone through CIC website, they have minimum requirement of 4 Bands.
Is 6 band score is sufficient, for SINP?

Hope we all get nomination soon.

Hello Dhwanil - General Stream 6 Bands are enough for you provided you meet the other requirements. Good luck for your nomination. Processing time for Family Class is little longer than the Skilled Worker Stream.

hello everyone i somewhat have te same history as Mr Patel.

applied for sinp skilled worker- July 2011
additional document requested - Nov 2011 (some documents from my husband office like his job responsibility n updated bak statemnet which was sent along woth the file also...
Mailed twice - to sinp n they stated that its in process...
Nov 2012-- travel history
Still waiting for nomination............................
