I was also nominated by SINP,,I just sent my PR application to CIO after almost 2mos of completing my docs.Hoping & praying that everything will be on the right track,,

Hey roayns... Which date u applied cic... My application is also almost done and just waiting for police report which i will get with 2 more days and will send docs... What payment method did u use? I am planing to pay by credit card online. Thirdly i dont use any representative so it means no need of representative form at all?

I just couriered yesterday. I waited so long for our police clearance from Philippines but finally I submitted it. I used online credit card payment. Likewise, I did not filled up representative form because I don't have representative.

can any body tell me how to optain police clearance certificate in USA and also in india. I am indian currently residing in US for past 5 years. So I would need police clearence from both the countries.. can anybody tell me the procedures for both the countries.

Hi SkMarch31, i don't know how the procedure is in India but in US you can go to www.FBI.gov and then you click on Background check. Download and print the form FD258 and follow the instructions there (don't forget the cover letter)
It takes between 6 to 8 weeks to get the report.

Hi,

I applied on December 2011 and i had received File number and still now there is no response from SINP, i heard the application processing was stopped due to huge applications. Can any one please tell me when the application are going to process ??

As of now i didn't receive any call, could you please help me what is the reason behind this ??
