any idea for application jan 2011 in snip family ? how long we can expect to wait ?

Mine is April 2011 application and still waiting for the nomination.

Let us know, if any one got nominated inthe year 2011

everyone has same question..??? about nomination.. and the total expected time ... we applied in sinp federal skilled on 27july2011 ...its one year.. additional documents request in nov 11... but till now no update... so upsetting it is..

Hi there,

on 20th Jan 2012 an electronic letter (email) was sent notifying of missing documents.
The documents were prepared and sent on time but since then the system still shows "waiting on applicant".

Did this happen with anyone of you too??

Now after may 2012, new problem has started.
Now Employer have to get registration first, then job approval and then it should be submitted to SINP and then they'll give the selection.

another way to look at it.

Hi everybody,

Just wondering if anybody has heard from SINP. This thread has been rather quiet.

I know we've found the wait rather long (I hope useful though) but it would be good to still share info while we wait. I believe we're a lot closer to the end now.

Pls share whatever you have on Sask, booming businesses, cities or trades, new high demand jobs or whatever.

I personally suspect SINP might have reached its limit for the year so will probably start pushing out nominations from now, knowing that PPR will likely come in from end of the year to early 2013. Or, if they are yet to meet their 2012 limit they would be working round the clock now to push out as many as possible. Whichever way we look at it guys, we're almost there.

By the way, I stumbled on a report online that says Worst Labour Shortage hits Saskatchewan (http://www.joconl.com/article/id51181). It cuts across Canada but I think it's bad in some provinces. This is particularly with journeypersons. Infact it looks like some projects would have to be put on hold so companies can hire internationally and from other provinces. Sask residents can give us more info please.

Please let me know what you think and while we wait let's keep hope alive!

Hi Fazan,

I'm also in Skilled worker stream. Have you got your Job Approval Letter from SINP Employer Unit...??
Your Employer must have to get this letter from SINP Employer Unit. It may lead to your fast process.

Thanks

I am in swift current SK and can tell you here its a great shortage, almost everyone is hiring, my wife joined me here in last month and when she went to look for the job, she got job the first place she asked, ofcourse its entry level. but there is shortage for sure.

"Any one from Lahore who done his medical?"

I inquire from Ahsan Waheed Rathor's Clinic they said that adult fee 3500 each child fee 2200 each, X-rays from Shoukat Khanum 650 Each and courier charges 4500

(3 Persons)
Adults (2) = 7000
Child (1) =2200
X-Ray (3)= 1950
Courier = 4500
Total = 15650

i made an inquiry from Dr. Amer Iqbal's Clinic the said 3650 for adult, 1750 for Child including X-Rays and Courier

(3 Persons)
Adults (2) = 7300
Child (1) =1750
X-Ray (3)= Included
Courier = Included
Total = 9050

Such a big difference, Why?

Good to hear there's indeed a shortage and I'm glad to hear your wife got a job so quickly - Congrats!

Please let's know the areas of finance, administration or whatever that are in great demand so we (at least 11) can focus attention on specific/specialised training before landing.

Many thanks mysteryocean!
