there is no maximum, however average for family stream is 12 to 16 months these days.

Additional Document request date if any = 26th August 2011

Visa Office = Buffalo, USA
Application received date by Buffalo = 28th October 2011
AOR & MR = 13th March 2012

I phoned the hospital and the result sent to the CPP-Ottawa, but ecas hasn't updated yet.
I am waiting for the PPR.

It has been 10 month since I applied for SINP, but still silent there.

They are taking more than time they mentioned in their site.

I just mailed them two month ago to ask my application status and got two mails.

1- Auto reply in which they mention time frame
Skilled Worker – 4 to 6 Months
Family – 8 to 10 Months
2- This application is in process. No documents are needed at this time

After that I not hear single word from them.

If I call them will they told me my remaining time..??

Exact wording as i received when i inquired 6 months before.
I think they will not be able to tell you the exact time of your application but they give average time limits in application category..
I think now they are receiving a load of application that is why its getting harder for them to process application on timeline as previous...
People are rushing towards PNP from FSW now...

I think you are right, they are receiving lot of applications that's why they are exceeding from their time limit.

We can only wait... and nothing.

Lets hope for the best.

For those of you who do not speak English as their first language there is a new language requirement for sinp. Email or call their office to see how this affects your skilled worker application. If you call press 7 and you will speak to the admin in charge. FYI.

Did you mail them to ask how it would affect your application? For instance do you know if they now require a 7.7band? Like I said mail them to remove all assumptions. It is a new requirement so it might have nothing to do with what you already submitted.

No Requirement is not 7.7 band (infect there is never 7.7 in IELTS, either 7.5 or 8.0)
Their requirement came in force this month 2012, and requirement is as follow,

7. Language Credentials
You must provide valid English language test results from a language test administered by a federally designated testing agency showing a minimum of equivalent of CLB 4 in all categories. The acceptable tests include: International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS) with minimum scores of:
o Listening – 4.5
o Reading – 3.5
o Writing – 4
o Speaking – 4

Mine was over all 6.0.

Hey Friends i just have read in the guide that if applicant have committed crime then he must have to submit Photocopy of Police Character certificates, I mistakenly submitted it as knowing that its is a must requirement. I am clean (Alhimdullillah). and i am worried that they might think that i have committed crime, even i have submitted my wife's character certificates too.. what should i do.. i didn't know that i only have to submit them if i have committed crime. I am worried.. Please help

What part of NEW REQUIREMENT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? Eg there is a new requirement that pnp applicants do not need to submit transcript for cic application. New means recent and the info I posted was to let you know and check it out to see how it affects you. But if you insist then by all means you are right. The guide has not been updated because it's a new requirement.
