That’s a bad news for all current applicants. And probably the ones invited to apply in the upcoming draws. IRCC has 2M+ backlog. Resuming the general draws would increase the number of applications many folds, thus the wait time. The simplest applications may get decided in a matter of weeks (in Canada applicant, no foreign experience, no spouse, no dependents, and only one employer etc.). All other applications would never even be picked for at least a year or two after R10 (completeness check, and where the case analysts mess-up most files with stupid internal notes that lead to unnecessary delays). That’s what has been experienced by current and past applicants. I know that the prospective applicants would disagree with me on opposing the resumption of draws, and rightfully so, but I just don’t want the same misery that we are going through for anymore folks. Better wait than suffering uncertainty, losing jobs, losing peace, losing hopes, and, above all, deteriorating your personal life.
I feel you Bro. It’s a very painful time for all of us, for those who applied and for those who are waiting just to be invited. As someone who entered the pool I'm for one glad they are restarting draws. But as you said, we are all biased to what is beneficial for our own good.
To your point about " but I just don’t want the same misery that we are going through for anymore folks. Better wait than suffering uncertainty, losing jobs, losing peace, losing hopes, and, above all, deteriorating your personal life."
trust me when I speak on the behalf of people looking to get ITAs, misery was then 8-12 months the draws were paused. I'll gladly wait a long time AFTER getting an ITA and submitting an application rather than wait hopeless for draws to resume.
I don’t think so. We’re all in the same situation, and we are all here to help, discuss, and support each other during this painful journey. We can disagree on our opinions, but we’re not here to develop conflicts and hold grudges. I am sure we all want each other to succeed. Nobody here wants anybody to fail!it's like he wants CEC candidates to fail

Then I am with you. He has f****ng no vision, no serious skills how to run immigration, and probably no control over how IRCC should function. They pick cases randomly (completely destroying queue) and then just throw the cases with little complexity into the "IRCC junkyard" and forget about it, as if they don’t deserve the same treatment.i was talking about minister fraser, not anyone here
