Hello,
I applied for my parents visa on 11th August 2019 - online (Lahore)
Biometrics completed status : 21st August 2019
Correspondence letter confirming that biometrics are valid for 10 years : 23rd October 2019.
1.can anyone please guide me how long it takes after this to receive a passport request?
2. Is there a chance of rejection after this?
3. Is it necessary for the eligibility status to change or can they make a decision directly?
Reason for visit visa application: expecting my first child in December 2019

Following are my views.
1) Processing time varies which also depend on the urgency of case. Although average processing time is mentioned on CIC official website.
2) Rejections depend on some core factors if they are week such as travel history, bank statement and financial assets, purpose of travel, employment status of principal applicant or sponsor applicant if you applied your parents on super visa as you did not mentioned.
3) Not necessary
4) As per mentioned reason, chances of their trv could be high. Thanks

I applied paper base, 2nd attempt, 8 October
I applied paper based application from lahore on 31 September. Its my second attempt previous was in feb 2019 that i applied online.
Recieved letter from CIC to submit passport at nearest VAC . I hope vusa is approved . Does any one know much time it takes to get passport back .

I applied for my mother TRV online from Dubai.
Today I received email for approval and to submit passport.

In February it was refused i applied with same documents as this time the only thing which really works with canada visa os the covering letter. First time i applied i didnt write covering letter in detail but second time i wrote a two page detailed covering letter i think that really made a difference.
