Hi,
Today I collect my passport with visa stamped 4 years multiple, timelines are as under:
Passport submission date: 16th of May, 2014.
Online status shown: 31st of July, 2014
Passport collection date: 1st of August 2014

I just checked online passport status. Will pick tomorrow or whenever it arrives. But the good thing is it was dispatched from the embassy.

Visa application, tracking ID No.20140522xxxxx – Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ISLAMABAD, on 05/08/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

any body apply from Riyadh online cic here processing time 17 days but me apply on 11 June still no update can any one share time line and getting late is good or bad

My brother has applied on 28th May 2014 (Isb) paper based app - Got message that his passports are being returned today. Lets see

My mom didn't get the visa. The reasons are that he is not satisfied with:

1- family ties (even though we explained she has her son and grandchildren and handsome amount of property in Pakistan
2- travel history (we attached 4 previous passport with multiple visits to UK, USA, Netherlands, umra etc. and didn't attach the other 4 because it would have been too many passports even thought she had more UK, USA visas on them)
3- purpose of visit (we mentioned in cover letter that she is going to visit her son for 6 weeks)

The visa officer didn't have any concerns with financial assets or the sponsor's assets. Don't know what to do now.

again we are in a same boat, visa Rejected..

family ties,

purpose of visit,
current employment situation,
personal assets and financial status.

What did you put as purpose of visit?
Did you explain you have family in Pakistan?

Was it your application or both of your parents?
