i know a july 1st applicant who also submitted paper application but at karachi vfs n got biometrics correspondece letter on sep 6 n approved on gckey so wait a week may be

I am from Karachi Pakistan , my husband is Canadian citizen and sponsor me, my time line is

Application sent: March 18,2019
Application received: March 22,2019
ECAS access: April 25,2019
AOR1: April 25,2019
GCKey a/c linked: April 26,2019
BR: May 14,2019 (Passed)
SA: May 15,2019 (approved )
MR: May 22,2019 (booked on 30 may)

right now jan 2019 applicants r waiting for file transfer to london visa office dec applicants r moving now to lvo so u jst gotta wait ...the process has changed now before i know some ppl mostly wifes from pakistan were getting visa in 6 months even now some ppl who applied nov 2018 got visa in august 2019 so 9 months but most of the process gets done in sydney inside canada now thats y there is a 7 to 8 months wait for file transfers...Im sponsorsing my husband from pk n Im may 2019 applicant n we only got the file no mid july so far its been 3 months n notning else not even sponsor approval

Hey, yeah just got the correspondence letter on GCKey today. How long do you presume it might take for application approval/denial from this point on?

Dear, if you are in Canada then you can get latest and exact status of your mother's visa case by approaching your MP. Raise this query to federal MP, then he/she will send email to concerned VO location. They will definitely help you as elections are coming.

I applied for my mother's TRV on July 4th, 2019, Via paper-based application. This was done through lahore VFS Global services.

Timeline:
July 4th : Application submitted with biometrics.
July 8th: application received (email)

At this point i checked using the tracking code:
End July: Your application is under process at the the Canada IRCC office, Islamabad.
After End July :Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD.

.. this makes no sense, as i never submitted the passport along with the application.

Present September 8th: Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD.

History
My mother has visited canada twice in the last 10 years.
no other international travel history.

Please, if someone can give me some sort of guidance, it will be much appreciated. It is a trv, the process should not be this long for a person who has visited Canada twice in the past. I have emailed them, chatted with them... they just dodge the inquiry and say we cant say much.. it is under process. I have received no email updates since that first email... which is surprising. its been 2 months... at this point i dont care if it is refused or not.. any update would be appreciated so we can try again or something .. and move on .. having 0 updates is ridiculous.

Visa is approved, need some guidance.
My mother is obviously an elderly lady, and it is difficult for her to travel. I have received a form requesting the submission of her passport. I will go on my own to do so, on her behalf. What do i need to bring with me?
It says, bring passport, pre-printed form that is requesting submission of passport, and if submitting on behalf u must bring a "duly filled vfs consent form granting authorization"....
What is this consent form i cant find this anywhere?
FYI, i am going to the vfs VAC in lahore.
Please help.

hello salam

I got a trv from paris in last april.

My wife and my 2 year kid in pak. Now i want to apply for a trv for my family and go on vacation together.

But now if i apply from islamabad for my wife and kid becoz i have the visa so no need for me.

So am i to submit the letter of authorization for the kid travelling alone.

But im joining my kid with her mother from lahore to toronto and return is also from toronto to lahore

I applied for my parents on paper on Aug 23 and application is under review. No new updates.

When i applied, the web shows waiting time 45 days, it shows 60 days
