Hello Guys, I need advice.

TRV application of my mother in law was rejected. The reason of refusal are :
1. You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your /host's income and assets
2. Other reason. No CRA notice of assessment to validate host's income.

My father in law has wrote letter of support in which has stated that he will bear all expenses of her wife and also provide bank statement and property documents. However, my father in law is retired since July 2014.

My brother in law has sent letter of invitation only and in which he has written like that he will take care of her mother accommodation and other expenses

I'm not able to understand for whom his is asking for support documents and CRA notice of assessment? for my father in law or for my brother in law?
further, my brother in law does not enough saving in his bank account right now. It will work if he arrange from others and deposit them in his account. How many months bank statement is required? or can he take out bank letter only stating balance as at with not bank statement?

NOA (Notice of Assessment) of your brother-in-law, not the tax returns of your father-in-law who does not earn an income in Canada.

Ah, this IS the reason why his mom was refused. As your brother-in-law stated he will take care of his mother's expenses BUT he did not provide any financial documents (no employment letter + no NOA + no bank statement, etc), IRCC believes that he does not have the financial resources to support his mother's visit.

It will work if he arrange from others and deposit them in his account.
Very bad idea. It would almost mean his mother has misrepresented on her application (in a way).

IRCC/CRA have access to all your brother-in-law's financials. He cannot borrow from someone and deposit in his bank account to show that it is his money + to support his mother's visit.

How many months bank statement is required? or can he take out bank letter only stating balance as at with not bank statement?
He must show 1-2 months bank statement + his NOA + his employment letter + any investments.

If your brother-in-law does not have the financial means at this point in time, he should wait until he can prove he has enough money (of his own.... or together with his wife's income, if she is employed)

Thank for your reply. I need to know how much bank balance he and her spouse need to show? CIC need how many months bank statement? And CRA is required for one year or last 2 3 years?? And what action my father in law need to do? He don't have any tax return nor any proof of source of income like business or employment.

Do post the list of financial documents which your brother-in-law/his spouse + your father-in-law will submit.

Unofficially: Your mom-in-law must have about CAD 1,000 per week of visit + airfare + surplus funds

Hello,@Bryanna and all other senior members,

First of all thanks for your superb guidance. I put my case after reading this forum and submitted all documents you guys recommended. Here are my timeline and list of submitted documents. All senior members are welcome to predict on my case. I am posting everything in detail here so people can compare their case with me and can save their hard earned money. I have seen many people here who don't have any stable job, strong ties and still, they are wasting their money in applying again and again. So the intention is to save the people from wasting their money OR at least give them an idea so they can apply properly. Also, many people here are asking that they don't have strong travel history and what are their chances so my case is test case for them as I don't have much travel history By the way, I am least interested in my case outcome because after reading different threads I am sure visa (if they grant) will come after my approved leaves. I am planning to visit at the end of March.Anyway here are the documents and timeline.

Applied online: 1st Feb 2018

Biometrics completed: 2nd Feb

Now BG in progress

Host: Sister (invitation letter attached with boarding and lodging offer and all other expenses I will bear on my own). Moreover, I have attached Nadra family tree for establishing the relationship and her passport. By the way, she is a Canadian citizen.

Reason to visit: I have attached a detailed letter in which I have explained that my intentions to visit Canada is to spend quality time with my sister and want to visit tourist spots.

Social ties: My wife, father, and my mother are in Pakistan and I am not accompanying anyone with me (All of us living at the same address in Pakistan)

Length of stay: 3 weeks and I have provided a statement of last 6 months and have CAD $30000 in my account. No immediate transfer from any account and almost all amount is legitimate means transferring from my employer end. I am working with the company since 2010 so all amount is my savings and I provided FBR salary deduction certificate for few months to prove this and they can easily verify my monthly salary. Also, on my statement, it is mentioned that it is transferred from my employer. I get a commission on every successful project and I have provided a slip of that amount with check number that my company transfers into my account every month. Which they can also easily verify with my bank statement as well (so every penny in my account is verifiable which I have mentioned in my cover letter and they can ask in case of any confusion).

Assets (everything is on my own name) document provided along with rent agreements: I provided 3 houses documents with monthly rent agreements. Moreover, I have provided agriculture land documents with yearly rent agreement and my personal car document on my name. I have also provided rent agreement of house where I am residing right now and my company is paying the rent. I don't provide any charted accountant evaluation document as I didn't have time to waste on it. Two agreements are in Urdu and I didn't provide the translated document.

Leave approval letter from my employer.

Bond agreement till 2020 with my employer and experience letter.

Travel History: I don't have any travel history except I visited Sri Lanka in January 2018 for 4 days. I have mentioned in my cover letter that I didn't get much spare time so I never visited many countries(by the way its true in my case). No rejection on my passport ever in the past and no criminal record.

Now all seniors are case officers feel free to predict.

Thanks

chances are good as per the financial and family background but only issue can be travel history or purpose of visit but wish you good luck because that is a common fact why you want to visit only CA when you never visit any other country so just think about it.

Thank you so much for your valuable comments. I have mentioned in my letter as well my sister mentioned in invitation letter that she is going to arrange a reunion party on my first week of the visit and remaining 2 weeks I will spend in visiting different tourist spots like Niagra fall etc. and this is 100% true I am only visiting Canada due to her and due to the party as I have also many other relatives who are residing there. So if I choose any other country or destination for my vacation the above case can't apply.
